I need to buy a stroller to take overseas. I want something that reclines (doesn't have to be totally flat, but enough to let my 15 month old sleep)and something that is lightweight. I don't want to pay heaps. Any ideas? Thanks ------------- http://lilypie.com">

friends of mine swear by quinny zapps - i think its the zapp anyway, could be the buzz. They take it as carry on luggage, and have travelled all over the world with it from when their kids were really little. you can pick them up on TM for around $200-250. I have been looking for a travel stroller too recently, and TBH most of the umbrella strollers that fold up tiny are very flimsy, and i just don't think they would work for us, so saving up for a quinny as we travel a lot. I imagine it would be easy to resell the quinny after you had used it, esp if you buy it secondhand :-) ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I should add that we have only been looking at the ones that are small & light - there are probably better cheap ones out there, but the only ones I have seen are quite bulky - babyonline.co.nz have a few too ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I recently bought a Milano layback stroller for travel and I found it fab. It's kind of that step up from the super cheap, non recline umbrella strollers but still folds up pretty small. It reclines far enough for my 7 month old to have a great sleep, nice sunhood, big basket, easy to steer. I picked it up for $50 on TM (great condition) but I have seen them on sale for $100 at babycity. Quinny Zapps are great, we have one, however they don't recline unless you get a separate attachment. They are best suited for over 18 months in my opinion. ------------- Two little girls under 2!

We got a quicksmart stroller, they are about $250, I think, and found it good, its small enough to fit in overheads and is quite light and comes in a bag. It reclines to 45 degrees so while wasn't great for a 6mo, I find its fine for my boys to sleep now they are older.

The Quicksmart is what I really want but they are no longer available in NZ
I had a look at the Quinny Zapp and quite like them. But most of the ones available on TM don't have a storage basket underneath. They are pictured on the website though. Does anybody know if they can be purchased as an extra?? ------------- Here we go again, another baby on it's way!

I love our Quicksmart stroller. I used to it take our then 8 month old to Australia (was flying with just baby and me) and found it easy to set up, easy to fold down and lightweight. As Phoenix was only 8 months at the time, I had to buy a suitable insert to make it a bit more comfy.
