My current due date is 30th august but that could change so I thought I'd say hi in September too. 
My dating scan is 17th of January. So it's still a little while before I know either way. |

Hey ladies, I'm due 01/09/2012 :) I hope this one sticks, I am super excited to still be getting positive hpts 5 days after my first opk where I thought "there are two lines!"
I'm in chch, planning to start GD diet early on as my normal diet is quite unhealthy and i don't want to run the risk, also planning to do a hypnobirthing course and have a water birth with no pain relief beyond gas. Yesterday (yes Xmas) DH and I went to the night and day pharmacy in Newmarket (up from chch for Xmas) got a discover and confirmed the faint line last week with a really dark line! I kind of can't believe it as my first pregnancy was an ectopic, soi had a whole month of faint lines, and my second was a miscarriage before it got dark Oh, and the symptoms I've been having are sore boobs, tired, crazy dreams. I haven't had MS yet, but have been getting pickier with my food. How did you ladies go with avoiding certain things on Xmas? I told my mum that morning, so she made sure everything was safe and I don't normally drink around my family anyway. I tried to create a List hope its okay if anything is wrong feel free to change it.
I have not many signs at the moment some twitching in my tummy like AF is coming and I'm not very patient poor DH. As for avoiding Foods I try to eat everything fresh with washing it good before or cooking it well. Booze as I don't drink much not a problem for me and also we have no Family around here who could ask questions lol. Are you taking Folic Acid yet? I'm not too anal with my food, still eat what I would normally and everything on xmas day was fresh and I knew when and how it was prepared. The drinking thing on the other hand was hard! A few people guessed which was fine coz we were going to tell them anyway but we told my parents when we got to their place so it wasn't too bad. Haven't had any symptoms really. Just really, really tired! And sore boobs. Going to test again tomorrow just to make sure we weren't seeing things! I did a test on friday morning and one again on Saturday. Hopefully I had a super easy time like I did with DS - no MS or anything! Was really lucky. Going to get in touch with a midwife in the new year, until then have got some elvit so will continue to take that. Not sure about your bloods Mintyfresh? I would maybe wait till I got home? I had a referral from just prior to my mc for CBC and hcg, when had my mc I had a high white blood cell count so my doctor asked me to get the CBC test done after Xmas, so I have had my first blood test, I just wish I had the results already!!
Just picked up some elevit as i was in a Chemist anyway :) I'm thinking for nye I might make drinks for DH and I at the same time, but just not put alcohol into my drink - that way the spirits will get used but I won't get caught not drinking :) ------------- http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

Have been extremely tired and feeling slighty unwell some days worse than others but almonds and bananas seem to help me through that. Im craving potatoes, bread & pasta which is not what I would normally eat as I normally have a sweet tooth, Im not enjoying sweets anymore. |

Felt not very well today have to remember again to eat regulary with DS I had a very easy Pregnancy with no MS. Have the feeling it will be different this time we will see. So exciting to see who else will be joining us here  .

I keep on having this feeling like my period is starting, it is awful! I did another test today and it is even more positive, thank goodness.
I am so thankful that I discovered discover tests this cycle, they are so reliable, which I really value after what I've been through, like a whole month of faint lines with the ectopic. Mintyfresh I have the same thing kind a period pains on and off I must confess I'm always checking my undies (TMI). But I think its just bubs getting settled in and also ur uterus stretching. I did a First Response yesterday and it was positive and still is in the afternoon I did a Crystal Clear it was positive as well but after 2 hours it disappeared not buying those again. Discover are pharmacy only - I got a 2 pack from radius and another two pack from the pharmacy on broadway in Newmarket (because it was open on Xmas!!)
Very strange that the crystal-clear line disappeared! Those tests look quite fancy too. Yup, me too on the undie checking, but I need to go to the toilet much more frequently anyway, so it all works out :) I've had two episodes of spotting,bu it was so light I haven't worried about it. ------------- http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

Feeling okish here bit nausea kicking in and always in the afternoon. My tummy feels full all the time until I feel sick and remember actualy its empty.
Had Drs yesterday and yep I'm def. preggers bloods came back good .
First day back at work today and man I'm tired now also had a 12 hour day. Same will be tomorrow and I'm standing all day not much longer and I'm back outside lol. Have a good Trip away where are you going RG? Hope more Ladies will join us soon here .------------- Angel Babe in our - 07/08

Today was a bit up and down. I've had a near constant brown discharge - only a bit heavier than spotting - for the past 24 hours.
I've been trying to take it easy. I also had a lighter hpt today than Tuesday so I freaked out initially, but anything could have affected that. I did however get my first hcg test back - 130! I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow and having another test. I really hope I can somehow get my results back by the afternoon. However if the spotting doesn't stop by Saturday I will go into the Bealey ave clinic for a blood test as I had spotting with my ectopic too, and that was how we caught it before it ruptured. I am feeling ok today - went and had blood tests but I doubt I will get the results now till next week. Boobs are less sore and tummy still feels full.
Take it easy MF and try and rest. Its a scary time the whole unknown! I have my form to book my 6 week scan so will do that soon. Fingers crossed for a healthy little sac sitting in the right place

Just gonna pop in and introduce myself! Found out yesterday Im preggers w/ baby number 2 (6th pregnancy tho  ) So I am really nervous and crossing fingers, toes, eyes...everything that this is a sticky bub. Should have waited until AF was due, but I had a dream I got a BFP so tested and yay! Had an HCG test today, and it has come back normal!
So here I am! Look forward to chatting and getting to know you all. And best wishes for a happy & healthy 9months to everyone here! my DS was a due is Sept baby- nice time to be preg!

I have just pressed play on one born every minute! Positive thinking is really getting me through at the moment. I'm still spotting, it's still brown. I won't get any hcgs back until wed - one test today and another on Monday! I have decided this baby is there for me to enjoy and love while I don't know the future - and really isn't that the danger and joy of having a child - you'll never know their future so cherish them while you can. Gosh, got a bit emotional there! Bad heartburn and reflux today, nearly threw up at my desk! hows eveyone going today? i still have no af so pretty sure i am pregnant but will wait till Wednesday when new years all over with to go to the doctor and get bloods etc..... my cycles are all over the place from the jab and pill after having my daughter, i haven't been on anything for nearly a year first took forever for af to come back then had cycles between 26-32 days but have been 39 now and only got faint positive yesterday so thinking i ovulated really late this month..... so will have to get a dating scan to see where i am at as have no idea this time lol.

Welcome Luckymama23 and Cole88 and congrats on your Pregnancys. I've added you both to the List and yeah the List is growing .
I'm feeling pretty good today after I had nearly 12 hour sleep so much needed. After another 12 hour work day my body was in so much pain and I felt really sick. Mintyfresh I like what you said I think the same cherish the moment we have. With DS I lost 5kg in the first 3 months and I jumped on the scale this morning and I already lost 1kg . And my (.)(.) are not hurting all the time more a feeling of Milk coming in as when I was BF DS the let down feeling.
My GP never told me how high the HCG is just that it is around 5 weeks and to be honest I'm not sure I actualy wanna know. Hope all of you doing alright. My DS is a End of March Baby (Due in April) so its nice to have a Autumm and Spring Baby lol. We are off to the Supermarket and its raining so heavy here so New Years Eve gonna be a quiet one here. ------------- Angel Babe in our - 07/08

Had a bit of a crappy morning - DH's best friend is back in town and his partner and baby are up north so of course he is planning a big one for tonight. The phone rang four times when we were still sleepy and didn't want to answer, then my phone started ringing and it was my doctor to tell me my hcg level is 68, and then the phone rings again while I'm cuddling DH and his best friend starts yelling through the voicemail - "get the hell out of bed and answer your fing phone" etc

Hey everyone! Been MIA lately as we have been up camping in the horrible weather in Whitianga! Got there on Wednesday, meant to come home on Monday but lasted 3 nights and came home today. DS was having a ball in the wet weather and playing in puddles, but everything was wet and damp so decided to pull the pin.
I have been feeling fine, no feeling sick or anything like that - thank god. Hoping it stays away. Not sure if I'll go to the doc, might just go straight to the midwife but will wait until the silly season is over! A September baby is a good month for us! Minty I hope you are doing okay a bit worried here  .
We had a good day went to the Playground with DS but I'm so tired that DH mostly played with him. Did another Test yesterday and the Test Line was darker then the other one . Still have 2 left not sure if I will do them will see.
When will you guys give MW a call? I was thinking this week but not sure if it is maybe a bit to early. With DS I got my MW at 16 weeks as I wasn't a Resident and we got married a week before lol. ------------- Angel Babe in our - 07/08

Wow, I'm starting to get a lot of little broken hearts. I started miscarrying today, went to have my blood test done anyway - just in case it is ectopic - and the nurse suggested I lose some weight. I know she is right, I am 108kg, but I've gained at least 14 of that since my ectopic, so it was a bit touchy.
DH and I made a plan last night that if this baby miscarried, we would spend 2012 getting into shape, go to Japan in Jan 2013 and then start trying again. I'm joining weight watchers this week, and we're going to start cycling to get fit. It also sounds like we might have a midyear holiday too :) we haven't had a holiday for a year! AFM, I am back from holiday, feeling well. I bit tired now and then and hungry it seems all the time! Some tummy twinges most days which I am getting use to. I am up most mornings at about 3am eating something which is strange for me. I dont eat an awful lot of carbs so I am thinking that I may need to eat more of those. So all in all I am feeling good. I am feeling queasy all day but no actual MS as yet, fingers crossed that it stays that way as I have a two hour commute to work each day (return) and I am quite concerned about that once I start back at work on Jan 16th. Feeling tired in the afternooms & major aversion to food & smells. I have been living off toast - cheese on toast, spaghetti on toast, Marmite on toast, PB on toast. Finding it hard to keep up water intake too, anyone else? Started flavouring it a bit with lime cordial, but I find it hard to take more than a few sips at a time. I have started dreading taking my vitamins too simce the gagging gets ugly! M.

Candybear they should see a Heartbeat from 6 weeks + but I will wait til 7 weeks 5 days cos then there should be def. something to see. With DS I waited til 8w2d. Just had some Strawberrys before so yummy with DS I craved Strawberrys .
At the moment its a bit difficult to eat everything I look at is not nice or I feel like it but couple mins later .

OMG I am huge!! Started getting bloated the moment I conceived - my bloating was awful last time and went down around 12 weeks. I had a light positive the day I tested when I was 1 DPO and at 6 DPO the Test Line was darker then the Control. Too scared doing another one if it is lighter again I will just freak out.
Yeah weekend again and I can sleep that tiredness is getting to me .

Hello all, I hope everyone has been all good and 2012 is treating you well so far? I have been feeling ok just reaaaaaally tired, not really much nausea he odd day but today am feeling slightly ill. Booked the MW and I meet with her in a few weeks. Back off to work next week, it will be a struggle with the tiredness and "duh brainess' lol! but ah well. I miss my daily walks with the dog =( I try to get out as much as I can but cant seem to peel myself off the couch and it has been raining heaps so I'll just roll with that excuse hehe. Had all the tummy twinges and pulls but they seemed to have gone now so apart from that just cruising along, cant wait till 20 weeks so I can find out what we are having! Im not buying anything till I know!
Candybear - feel your pain about the pants, my board shorts are tight round my tummy =( Didnt think it would be so quick! |

Welcome to all the newbies too! We have just got back from being at the lake with my parents for the last 3 nights. Very glad to be home! The terrible twos has kicked in for my DS - he has been a terror lately!! Climbed out of his cot twice today, so we have taken the cot side off which is going to make for an interesting night tonight!! All good here. No MS, just really, really tired. It has got better now though, I've started taking Elevit more regularly so that should help. Still haven't called a Midwife yet. Will do it next week. Glad to see you a taking a positive light I did weight watchers and I cannot rave about it enough! Its a normal way of eating and teaches you how to eat well for the rest of your life, only tip I could give is avoid anything 'diet' full of horrible nasties that are really bad for you! Feeling okish here MS nearly hit me this afternoon been snacking since that and feeling bit better now.

mumma duck when u created your Ticker use under Forum Signatures the PseudoHTML, UBBCode and BB Code copy it and go to Profile which you will find next to Private Messenger on top of this page and then you paste it into Signatures.
Next time you post you tick show Signature and there it should be. Hope that helps .

Well here I am joining another due in thread...didn't think I'd be back here!! Wow, My hubby and I are still in shock!!
I have 2 children Harrison 7 1/2yrs and Harper 20mths. We have a big gap yep but that is because we had a very hard time having Harper. I was diagnosed with PCOS in Aug 2009. I had lost a lot of weight to have Harper but have put a lot back on in the last 20mths .
We have wanted a 3rd but have said all along it would just have to happen to us because we couldn't go through what we did last time. I guess both of us just thought it would be a huge struggle. Well according to due date calculators I am due 8th, 10th sept not too sure of my cycle length so give or take a few days. I look forward to being a part of this with all of you. -------------

Antenatal classes, are they worth going to?? Mum was talking to me about it and Ive got a few friends who are pregnant but didnt go, so not sure if I am going to or not?? What do they teach you, just how to bath baby etc? Or can you just buy a book and its all in there?

Mummaduck, I think it depends where you go.. I have heard birthcare do really great antenatal classes. We went to one run through the hospital, mainly because I had had nothing to do with babies before DS was born. We did meet a lot of people & had a nice coffee group. As for the course content I found it useful, but a lot of it you would probably know if you have been around babies... does that make sense??

Oh Candybear, a good excuse to rest and put ur feet up. I would be heading to the dr too. I'm sure everything is just fine. I had a friend who had bleeding at the start with all 3 of her chn.
Mammaduck I went to antenatal classes because thats what you do. Cant say I enjoyed them much but I'm glad I did them, some people do them with 2nd and 3rd chn,dont think I'd do that. I am not the best at socialising but as i said I kinda felt like it was the thing to do so we did them. -------------

Hi Candybear, I'm only a rookie but from what I've read & know from family & friends a little bleeding is normal. I am sure you & bubs are absolutely fine. Let us know how it goes with the doctors.
I have also decided not to go to the classes. From what I've been told they're mostly good for the coffee group, but with a few friends due within a few months as me I think I'll have a similar set up. I will talk it over with my MW in due course anyway! |

OMG my sister just made a Test and she is pregnant as well bugger we are not in the same Country that would have been so cool. Having lots of pulling pains today and been craving crackers and cheese all day but now thinking about it makes my tummy turn. I did antenatal Class and I really enjoyed it its more about the birth and last weeks of Pregnancy. Would like to do it again with this one but not sure yet cos its not so common here. Hi all I am pg with my second this has happened rather quick as we only started trying Christmas Eve looks like we are due 16th September. I have had brown discharge this morning so will go to the doctors tomorrow but fingers crossed it is nothing to worry about. I really enjoyed antinatal we did a two saturday course at birthcare, was amazed how much info my hubby actually took in.

I have found a MW this morning and I am going for blood tests and an early scan some time in the next 2 weeks. She has also got me organised with folic acid and iodine. I had forgotten bout that as last time I took Folic Acid for months religiously. Iodine is the new one tho what is it for?? -------------
