Hi Ladies,
Im absolutely confused... Ive been using 'Maybe Baby' for 3rd month now and the first month wasnt showing any ferns at all, but the 2nd month, it started showing ferns from mid-cycle and until the end pretty much. This month it started showing from day 7 and is still on and off.
I only do the testing in the morning, still in bed, so it should be all fine.

They say some women have very high hormone level and that's why you get ferns all the time...or when you're already pregnant. And obviously havent gotten pregnant yet, so Im really confused...Is it just my hormone level?

Has anyone else has a similar problem? Thank you

Hey Little T, Sorry I am not much help. I looked into getting a maybe baby when starting to TTC, but there seemed to be loads of people who didn't get a clear result, so I decided on just using OPK's which has been working fine.
Hope someone else can help you though!

The ferning is caused by high enough estrogen levels, so it may be just your hormone levels. I saliva checked when TTC my first and I don't think I'd do it again because the results were kind of all over the place.

I used a saliva microscope, but found it gave erratic results. Sometimes I'd get full ferning when I was about CD7-8, and then nothing when I actually ovulated around CD15-16 (I chart my temps so know when I OV'd.)

I did try using fertile CM too, as apparently that will also show ferning if your estrogen levels are rising. I got inconclusive with that too, but I only tried it once.

In the end I stopped using it, as it was just too unpredictible.
