Just wanting to know what you all prefer for boys swimwear. I've always had all in one suits for my two year old which I was just about to buy again until a friend suggested it might not be the easiet with toilet training.

I wasn't so keen on the two piece (shorts and rashie top) as the top might ride up, bottoms fall off! or a piece gets lost at the pool....

So tell me, which do you prefer and why?

my 20mth just wears a swim nappy and rash shirt if he is going to the pools. if he's at the beach or around home he wears a rash shirt, swim nappy and board shorts.

My 20month old wears just a swim nappy at swimming lessons/public pools or something of the like and at the beach/paddling pool at home he wears a rash shirt to avoid sunburn.

I don't bother with shorts or the second 'piece' of a swimwear set as the swim nappy we have is sufficient I feel

What age?? My almost 3 year old LOVES his togs. He tries to wear the shorts like undies. So for us we prefer the swim suit material two piece togs.

Before he was toilet trained it was the same over a swim nappy. I think if you were using a little swimmer either would be ok.

DS wears all of the above
Either a one piece, swim nappy and rash shirt, or rash shirt and little Lycra type shorts. Although, we haven't started toilet training yet. But, it can't be much different to little girls wearing one piece togs
