Wouldn't be able to tell them apart if you hadn't put their names up with their picture....Dumb question coming up...lol....Are you able to tell them apart when they are lying together just by looking at them or do you dress them in different colours to tell which is which????? -------------

| very sweet. It is hard telling babies apart aye. I was thinking that when i went up to see my nephew in NICU, I was looking at this baby then thought oh crap I hope its the right one! checked the name tag and luckily it was him but they all look the same. |

lol your kidding us theres only one baby. lol. Did i tell you my friends twins are a year and a half old and she still puts nail polish on one to tell them apart (she can tell but her hubby can't).

Sometimes I think Mercedes has a slightly bigger mouth, but mostly I just can't tell, so I wrap them in different colored wraps. Took them for blood tests yesterday and the lady had to check their bracelets to make sure she had the right baby each time!

Such cute bubba's! My dad is an identical twin and he and his bro used to swap jerseys when they were at school (they had L & M on sewn on so pple could tell them apart) just to confuse teachers and also their Mum!
It's hard to tell Sienna and Mercedes apart, although I think Mercedes has a bit of a chubbier face - there always seems to be one twin 'bigger' than the other, and seems to last all their lives too.  ------------- Selina http://lilypie.com">

I think Mercedes is a little chubbier in the face too, atm it's abit easier coz Sienna is jaundiced so she's the yellow one lol. But Willie came home today and I was holding Sienna and he guessed right which one she was. I think that Sienna has a thinner mouth too, or maybe it's just the way that she holds her mouth.

My bad, sorry! We named Mercedes first, well actually Willie did. There was always a bigger and a smaller baby, in th ebeginning it was measured in days (eg. one baby was 12w1d and the other was say 12w5d) and then later in weight. So we decided that Mercedes would be the bigger baby.
Once they got stuck on the same sides permanently we knew that Mercedes was on the right and Sienna on the left, and then we found out that Sienna was leading so we knew that she would be born first. ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)

They think that's why her head came down on a funny angle, coz Mercedes was pushing her sideways. It's hard case how identical they look and how different their personalities are already.

We might be coming up in a few weeks. Mum and dad are coming over after they get back from Portugal (nice for some!) and we might come up to see my grandparents. Their eyes are blue. I'm not sure if/when they will change? Maya was born with blue eyes but hers were brown by 3 weeks coz we have a photo of her with her eyes wide open and they are very brown. Maybe the twins will take longer? ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)

we thought my sons eyes would change colour as neither i nor hubby have blue eyes and they stayed very blue to this day and he is almost 3! plus hes blonde! and neither of us are blonde (dark). I love big brown eyes! and once again your girls are just soooooo cute!

Ummmm.... I rang Mona after they were born and she is looking forward to seeing them, but she's living in Whangarei atm. I think Willie is bringing her down to see them in a few weeks for his brothers birthday.
The boys haven't seen them yet either. Arepa knows they have been born, but we haven't seen him, and I don't even know if Eddie knows I was pregnant coz he has disappeared off the face of the earth. The last we heard he was working in taupo, but the cell phone # we had for him doesn't work any more so who knows. I think Mercedes is definitely the boss lol. She is more demanding that Sienna, Sienna is quite content but Mercedes screams the house down every time she wakes up and goes blue in the face in the 5 minutes she has to wait for her bottle to warm.
I love these little Bonds suits, they remind me of little jailbirds... Mercedes...
