Can anyone recommend a good swim nappy for my DD, she is 5 months, breast feed and seems to have massive bum explosions! Start swimming lessons in Jan and very worried we are going to end up with a leaking nappy!

Lots of swim centres prefer you not to use swim nappies as if there is a poo incident they like to know about it so they can deal with it. But I use Charlie Banana reuseable swim nappy.

I have Monkey Doodlez in every size :) I think they're great and have worked well from 3 months to 2.5 years :)

We've also been using a Monkey Doodlez swim nappy from 6months with DS, although so far he has never tested it with poos.
I think there are a few threads in the Cloth Nappy Section, you could do a search.
I know that Some people just use a cloth cover with great success

We've got one from Baby Factory, works great.

I'm surprised that some places don't want them, we always get asked when we pay if we have one.

I have just got a tots bots one, they look really good! They have aplex fastening sides so you have more adjustment for a snug fit ... looking forward to testing it next week

We have a Charlie Bannana one. And yes, I can tell you they hold the poo provided they fit properly.

Our pool actually sells reusable swim nappies so they obviously think they're okay. I've also seen several code brown's from disposable swim nappies that aren't put on properly anyway. So it's all about the fit.
