Hi girls
I'm nearly 35 weeks with baby number 2, wondering when people started drinking raspberry leaf tea, or any other stuff supposedly helpful for preparing for labour? I didn't do anything last time, and had to be induced at 42 weeks so I'm keen to try anything that might be helpful to go into labour naturally. Hi troutpout,
I have heard it is fine 36 weeks and on. Not sure about any other herbs for preparation of labour, but I have bought some arnica tablets for afterwards to help with internal healing.

Not sure about raspberry leaf tea but I have started to drink Artemis preganacy tea which is safe from 5months onwards. My sister used it and she thought it helped. -------------

I drank raspberry leaf tea from 31 weeks (on midwife's advice) and my birth was quite good - bubs was posterior and it was only 3 hours from 3cm - him arriving and three pushes! Will definitely be taking it this time around too!

I started taking rasberry leaf tablets at about 38 weeks and went into labour on the third day of taking them  So I think I'll wait till 39 or 40 weeks this time. ------------- http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

#1 I started the tablets at 36 weeks and gave birth at 38 weeks.
#2 I started the same tablets at 37 weeks and gave birth at 38 weeks too. ------------- Our Angel July 08  Gone but not forgotten
And to complete our family, our princess has arrived
