We're considering buying one of these as I quite like the size. Ds has almost outgrown the mountain buggy swift and we really like the size and maneuverability of it so want a similar pram. Ds fits in the city mini easily with plenty of room, it seems a good size and seems maneuverable. To hear pPeople's experiences with this pram would be great, or if people could recommend a pram similar to the swift.
TIA.

Hi there

We bought a Baby Jogger City Mini a year or two ago and I LOVE it.

It was our second buggy - the first drove me insane - too heavy, too hard to put down, too much room.

In contrast the BJCM collapses in one move, and when collapsed can fit behind the drivers seat in our car. Gives us HEAPS more room when traveling.

Highly recommend it. Will look at buying a little skateboard to attach to the base for DD if we have another baby.

We bought ours in 2010 for my DS and love it! As Chocol8 said it is so easy to collapse, I can do it one handed with DS in the other arm. It's also the lightest good quality buggy I could find.

I bought from these guys as they were about $100 cheaper than BabyFactory etc, they're in Silverdale but free delivery

We bought one as a round-town buggy. We LOVE it. It's so easy to use (open, collapse), small and easily maneuverable. It tracks well (better than our friend's P+T one). Everything is one handed which makes things SO easy! The hood gives DD extra shade compared to other prams, we bought a rain cover, and a sheepskin liner for winter and the attachment for our capsule to sit in there.

The negatives;
The rain cover; has only lasted <6months (with minimal use) - the zip broke and it can't be fixed.. so if you're going to do this reinforce the sides of your zip before you use it.

It's not a walking pram, the small wheels can get stuck (even going up curbs etc), it's fine around town, but if you're into walking/running, I wouldn't recommend this pram.

The wheels are rubber (?), they don't have a tube - this is good as you can't get a flat tyre, but bad as stones get stuck in the wheel and leave dents.

As long as you know what you want your pram to do then you're fine. We have a chariot CX2 so needed a smaller more town friendly pushchair. It's been fantastic, we've done some walking around the streets, but off road it's no good. It's been the perfect pram for what I needed it for :)

I have the city mini and we love it, it fold up flat and small in the boot. I can even fold it with one hand and hold my DD in the other. I also like how far the hood comes down to protect in the wind and rain.
I recommend it.
