I am trying to figure out how to fit three kids in the car when our baby arrives. My 6.5 year old is 24kgs and pretty tall (haven't measured him yet). He is currently in a full booster but I am considering getting him a half booster, with either a harness attachment or a seatbelt adjuster. I want opinions on these options, are they safe? My 3 year old is 14kgs and currently in a 5 point harness carseat, but her head is above the back of the seat, and she generally just looks too big for it. Do I get her a full booster with harness?? Her carseat will go in the rubbish as it has expired and baby will be in a capsule, then get a proper carseat after that. Did any of that make any sense??
Can anyone recommend any narrow carseats/boosters? Getting a new car is not an option at the moment.
Thanks in advance!

The Sunshine Kids Radian is an extended rear-facing seat that is narrow enough that people can fit 3 across the backseat of most cars (so should be able to fit with 2 boosters?)
My daughter is in a Graco booster which seems pretty narrow too.
Take your car to Baby on the Move and then you can try out some different seat configurations there?

Have you talked to Plunket Carseat or Baby on the Move?
I know Plunket down here in our area always buy the 'slim line' car seats that can fit 3 across the back, but i don't know the name/brand.

We have the same problem- so far I dont think its gonna be possible cos each side of the backseat is contoured up, which greatly reduces the ammount of flat backseat to fit carseats on.
Ive heard that plunket dont recommend half boosters but cant remember why.
My 5yr old is 19kg and short, and DS is 2, 11kg and short too. He will still need to be in a full carseat when #3 arrives. So hope we can make them all fit somehow.
Advise on brands ect greatly apporeciatyed here too. We have no baby-on-the-move shop here. TIA
