I'm curious - Has anyone ever gone overdue even when they've taken Raspberry Leaf tea?

11 days over...I liked the tea though, so didn't mind that it wasn't doing anything.

I took rasberry leaf tablets and was 10 days early. Not sure if the tablets are more potent than the tea, most likely ....
I had a 9lb4oz baby though so maybe he was just ready to come early anyway.

5 days overdue.
I didn't think it was supposed to induce you, but it is supposed to help your uterus or something?

#1: 4 days over
#2: 5 days over
#3: 1 day early
#4: Feels like it will be overdue!

I've only used the pills. And like MamaT I believe it's to help your uterus rather than cause you to go early or anything.

Induced 2 days over but had a really quick birth so the tea might of helped with that

11 days over, but yeah it's supposed to help with toning your uterus. Supposed to make for a shorter pushing (2nd) stage I think.

Hell yes. 16 days over (including 3 days of induction). RLT definitely made my uterus do something as I would get tightenings after drinking it. My actual labour was 5 hours though I did need synto (and 2nd stage was 6 minutes, so maybe it helped there!)

Didn't do any harm though, and that was my main criteria for trying it.

induced 11 days over with #1 (with the tea)
natural 12 days over with #2 (with the tablets & EPO)

I did find that my BH contractions were really strong after having the raspberry leaf and my labours were both quite fast (5.5 and 4 hours)

My midwife didn't recommend it. She said it was a marketing gimmick and most women thought they would have baby early etc when that's not what it is meant for.
