Intoducing our precious girl,..Isla Mae. 
She was born 17th Oct 2006 (at 40+5 weeks). She weighed 3.82Kgs(8lb 6), and was 52 cms long.

Thanks! Im actually very impressed that I look ok(ish) in that pic. I am atcually very green looking still. My haemoglobin dropped from 140 when I got to the hospital, to 95 the next day . The only let us home after 3 nights if I promised to do nothing!

Her name Isla is pronouced "Eye-la" as in Island!

What a gorgeous baby, and such wonderful photos !!
Not meaning to thread-jack, but I'll just quickly mention that I had a low haemoglobin problem after I gave birth as well - had to stay in hospital to have a transfusion in the end, as I think I dropped down to 60-something ------------- Jacquie - Mama to Erin, 13.07.06 - Chief Cat Chaser & Marmite Sammie Eater

| Gosh Jax thats low! They said I was lucky I had been taking Floridix to try and boost my iron cos it built up my Haemoglobin to 140, and apparently most peoples Hb is about 110 at end of pregnancy, so if it had been that to start with I definatley would have been a lot worse off and needing blood too. |
