Hi!
I am just wondering if anyone can tell me when you should start progesterone pessaries? How many days past ovulation? Thanks for your help!

I started them 7 days post ovulation. I had recurrent mc's though and started spotting before my period was due even when utd which is why I started the pessaries early. I had to do a BT on Cd28 to see if I was pg and if not them stop them as you don't get your period when taking them. | I have a very short luteal phase (7 days) and start them from 2 days after ovulation. Looking at the responses above, it really must depend on what kind of symptoms are necessitating their use. |

| Hi, I also started at 2dpo but agree it may depend on why you require them. I also have a question though. How long after stopping the pessaries should AF arrive? I was told 2 days but almost 4 days later no sign of her. Is this normal? Was taking them due to low lh at trigger and get thin lining. |

| Maju I think anything from 2 days to a week is normal, it depends what kind of level of progesterone you have when you stop as to how long it takes to drop far enough for a bleed to begin (or so I believe!). |
