We live in the South Island and can't see in person. Has anyone been to one of their shops and what did you think of it and the quality.

I haven't seen a bed before which has drawers as well as a pull out bed.

Having boy girl twins we would have to buy two. I really like the idea that they can have a friend to stay when older. Storage is an issue (we don't have enough) so the drawers are a wee bonus too.

Any other bed recomendations appreciated too :)

that looks cool- I haven't seen any with a tundler and storage. We haven't gotten a bed from furniture city but have brought other furniture and have found the quality to be good.

Harvey Norman have a similar bed...do you have one of those near you? It is a bit dearer though. They do good interest free deals sometimes which would help when having to buy 2!
I haven't looked at either of the beds in person but they are a great idea. Definitely keeping it in mind for DS.

I had my sister go in and have a look at the bed at Furniture City. She reckoned that the sales guy cringed a little about the bed. He said it was quite difficult to put together. My sister felt that it looked quite cheap in real life too.
The guy at Furniture City showed her a Captains Trundler Bed which wasn't on the website, similar to the Harvey Norman one but only 498, mattresses extra. It was great quality, came in white and brown stain, had bigger storage drawers and they were on rollers. The guy also reckoned it was easier to put together.
Hope that helps! It is hard when you can't see things in person.

Hey thanks Jaune thats good to know about the one at Funiture City I wasn't sure about it as the picture wasn't that great. Shame they don't have the one your sis was shown on the website.

We do have a harvey norman near us we have been in a couple of times and they don't have the that captains trundler bed in store, but perhaps they can get it in. I would be wanting them to cut us a pretty good deal on it though definately not able to pay $700 x2.....
