So two weeks before our twins 2nd birthday DH is thinking they need something more.... so far most of their present from us is homemade so maybe he is right, but I feel like we are always buying them stuff and soon to buy beds...I tend to think what we have is enough and to get trikes for Christmas but DH is adament they will get use out of them now.
Obviously I like to research - did a search on trikes here and nothing much came up and was years old.
Any recommendations? He is keen on one like this for DD but I think it was $150!

My IL's bought DS a this http://www.iqtoys.co.nz/product/30408/tuff-trike/ - Triang Tuff Trike in red for Christmas, he has started to ride it properly in the last 4-6 weeks and he loves it now! It's really sturdy being metal and he loves putting leaves and different toys in the trailor and riding it around
There is a space at the back to insert one of those long pole push handles which we were going to get but haven't yet, not sure if we will but at least the option is there.
I would definitely recommend it

I got my DD the same Triang Tuff Trike - Farmers sold them at one point but I got hers from Toyworld. She was very slow to learn how to use it. She got it for her 2nd birthday and has only learnt to peddle it in the last month or so despite hours spent by me pushing it round and trying to teach her. Although my DD is a little slow on the motor skills front, she has only just learnt how to use a scooter and a balance bike too and I see little kids using those all the time.
She loves putting things in the back and now she has finally learnt to peddle she uses it heaps and heaps. Before that she still put stuff in the back and pushed it round, she used to pretend her soft toys were riding it and push it around.
