Might be too far for you... but the midwives at the Warkworth birthing center are fabulous. They do homebirth, birthcentre birth and North Shore Hospital. I had Sue Wynyard who is very experienced and I found I trusted her completely. The birth center is also really good and you can stay there whether you birth there or not. Hiya, Karen Morgan from Maternity associates is awwwwesome. We had difficult pregnancy and she was soooo supportive!!! highly reccomend.
