| Hi, I am new in the town, just starting my full-time job here and as a single mum I may need some babysitting help occasionally. My 3yo DD is booked in creche for my normal working hours but sometimes I may need some extra help with childcare. Any advise where to find the right person to help (agency?). Thanks! |

Do any of your work mates have teenage kids/uni students living at home that are in need of some cash?
Otherwise Student job search? Theres several polytechs and 2 universities in Wellington so lots of students around. Also if you got one from the nanny school/early childhood courses, they would be keen on the experience. Perhaps your creche could ask some of the other mums.. Hope that helps.. -------------

We moved here in January and had the same problem. We used the agency Karitane and had a lovely babysitter for our 14 month old daughter. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
