well, once again a self-explanatory title. I put Jake in undies, and about an hour later asked him if he wanted to go to the loo. said yes and off we went. then he peed. did it again this morning too! i'm so excited! It was weird as a few weeks ago he was scared of the toilet - i guess of falling in, despite us having a kiddy seat that goes on top. I've put a stool so he can rest his wee legs on that, and it seems to be doing the trick. currently the bribery is stamps on the hand, which he ADORES!!!!! and we will get a chart today and some gold stars for some more incentives. And I've just bought a new lot of fuzzis! Oh well!

The only problem was we just went to town and he wanted to go to the toilet there. He had pull-ups on because there is NO WAY i will let him go to the public toilets - he'll be scarred for life. And he was not impressed when he had to wet his nappy instead. Also, was not impressed putting on a nappy for nap-time. So proud though!!!!!

Well done Jake
This probably sounds gross but we leave a potty in the car for times like that, Im not keen on public toilets either but once kobe was in undies we didnt want to put a nappy or pull ups on when we went out. so far we havent had to use it but its there just incase.
I got kobe the cutest we boxers today at pumpkin patch, they are so sweet but it makes him look like a big boy, not my little baby.

When I started toilet training Ella I carried her toilet seat around in a plastic bag, that way we could put it on public toilets without her having to sit on the actual seat.
Well done Jake! Soon you'll only have one in nappies

Aimee - yep, he will. kinda why we bought them as well. i figured jake could wear them at nap time, and possibly at night - i mean he'l;l possibly be in night nappies until he's four or so depending on the circumstances, and Taine can wear them during the day. taine is till fitting the medium but he should fit the large as well. same with disposables, they fit the same at the moment, but Taine also fits the smaller size, which of course are cheaper.

Okay, we had a "wee" (heheh) accidernt on the couch (damn new sofa!!!), but apart from that, he went about hree times, and once just sat there. The only problem is that he won't ask, I have to constantly ask him. is that the same for everyone else? or does that mean he's kinda too young?

na its just that they dont think about it. Give it a couple of weeks and he will start telling you.

To start with we were asking Andrew every hour if he needed to go so he remembered that he had undies on. After a few days of this he was telling us that he needed to go.
I would get him stickers with something he like on them - Wiggles etc, a bigger incentive to get the sticker.
