Having the most awesome morning today with my daughter. We woke up this morning and had big snuggles in bed and watched Dora and now weve just come back from a walk in her new pink trike. She looks so cute in her little trike she likes to wear her sunnies too. We went to the park and went on the swing on the slide and she kept exclaiming "FUN!" with a silly little giggle, we then got a boysenberry trumpet icecream and sat under a big tree in the shade and shared it. Im pretty sure its her first icecream. Wish I had the camera with me. So simple but its one of the best things about being a parent I think. What are your favourite simple pleasures of parenthood?

At the moment it's peek a boo & huge smiles with the little one. I wish things were simple with the big two lol but I guess cuddles on the couch at the end of the day.
Ohhhh and when I drop C off to Kindy him running back & saying Kiss Mum!

My big girl has suddenly found fantasy play so on a stunning morning like today I loved watching her potter around on our deck with her kitchen, making cups of tea for her toys, all the time chattering away to them :-)
And also throughout the day she has started giving random hugs which are awesome!
Little one has just started smiling so for her it is the big grin I get just before the boob comes out :-)

Defineatly those morning snuggles - and when he already shows me how much of a great big brother he is going to be giving my tummy kisses and cuddles all for the baby :)

What a great topic!
I love: Cuddling up in the hammock outside (sometimes when it's raining - hammock is under cover :) and reading books wrapped in a blanket if it's chilly.
Finding all the things daughter hasn't played with for ages and playing in her bedroom with them.
Making a kite out of a plastic bag and flying it on a windy day.
Putting on gumboots and going pinecone hunting.
Having 40+ hairclips put in my hair as we play 'hair dressers'.
Playing 'sleep over' on the trampoline. We get to read books again and then cuddle up for as long as she'll stay still :)
Going to the library and doing all the big floor puzzles.

This :)
Also having the boys snuggle in bed with us on weekend mornings, and lying on a picnic blanket on a sunny afternoon pointing out planes in the sky, funny clouds etc. The simple stuff is definitely the best.
