I assume at some point the admin might create one. But for now, I thought I'd make this one for people due in August 2013. I'm due 8th August 2013. So I think I'm about 4 wks. -------------

I'm in here too. I miscarried twins in September, but fell pregnant again after only one cycle. Now due on the 1st of August. I'm cautiously optimistic that this pregnancy will work out - my HCG levels are higher this time around, and I've had terrible morning sickness, where I only threw up a couple of times in the last pregnancy. That's sad about the miscarriage. But here's hoping this one sticks for you. I'd been having symptoms for about a week. But didn't want to get too excited about them, just in case. I was shocked at the positive result yesterday. Even though I used First Response Early Detection pregnancy test. It says you can test from 5 days before AF is due. So I got a 3 pk, in case it was too early. As yesterday was 2 days before my AF is due. Due tomorrow. But turns out I only needed 1 test. And 2nd line showed up really fast and quite dark. So I wonder if I'm more pregnant then 4 wks. What symptoms do you have? I have had so far, indigestion, shortness of breath, fatigue, lucid dreams(for at least 4 days), sore boobs(for about 3 days), flatulence, sore back, nausea, going to bathroom more, disturbed sleep, bloating and moods. -------------

It's amazing how early the symptoms can start, isn't it? I started throwing up at 3 weeks & 4 days, and have had morning sickness most days since. Those first response tests are so sensitive, it's great. Are you planning to go to your GP and get blood tests done sometime soon? My symptoms have been much the same as yours - as well as a lot of stretching pains around the level of my right hipbone (some days it's been quite uncomfortable!) ------------- http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

Yeah, I have an appointment with GP for Monday. As the midwives I will be using don't give you your first appointment til 12 wks. -------------

Joining you! AF isn't due until Sunday, but POAS's today show a lovely second line even a blind man can see! Haha DH thought me mad saying that to him! I had embryo transfer Friday, 23 Nov, last week. I started feeling my usual implantation pain 5.5 hours later! I thought I had lost it on Wednesday as my pain completely disappeared, and I got a BFN. I was helping sort heavy boxes of donations for a charity and as I was convinced I'd lost Popsicle, I was lifting these heavy boxes! Oops! Feel like a bad mum already for doubting the wee thing when it was just too early! I'm getting dull and strong AF-like pains and twinges both on right and left sides of my uterus, lower back pains. Oh! hunger! Getting hungry around an hour after eating, no matter the meal size. That right hip thing, Jessydukes (hi!! ) - me too! I thought it was my endo being stretched, I had the hip thing last time too (it feels similar to hitting your funny bone), so that's why I've assumed. Hoping this one is the one for us. Background: TTC over 3 years, 2 MC's this year, both IVF. |

Jessydukes. 2 options I can think of to make it easier. That's cool escadachic - you might just need to teach us how to copy and paste :) I'm not totally computer illiterate, but something about html code just turns my brains to mush. (All the pregnancy hormones don't help, either). I got my HCG levels back from yesterdays test. 940 - doubling every 55 hours since Monday (when it was 380). As far as I can tell, that's within the normal range. I always read way too much into HCG levels - though last time they were a pretty clear indicator that it was time to give up hope. After the mc I have to have twice weekly blood tests, plus an early scan to see whether there is anything there this time. ------------- http://lilypie.com" rel="nofollow">

There probably are, but maybe some people haven't missed AF yet, so they haven't taken the test. I saw there was about 4 people on the Trade Me Messageboards. But I always forget that place exists, so not bothering. I did go join the Treasures forum, but no action going on there. Only about 5 people in there. But I find that site can take a while to load. Plus I prefer OhBaby to be honest  I'm guessing we'll have more people join us over the next few weeks. I found from when I was in the Feb 2010 due date forum, I actually joined about 40 pages in. As it seemed many of them found out they were UTD before their AF was late. -------------

So, either of you suffering from baby brain/pregnancy fog yet? I am! I kept forgetting what I was talking to a lady about 3 times, while having a conversation with her. Had to keep asking her what I was talking to her about. Then I get the, go upstairs for a reason and get up there and start thinking, what the hell am I up here for?! Why did I come upstairs again and just stand there feeling confused LOL! -------------

I went back to sleep then retested 4 hours later and it looks to be just lighter than the first one today. So it looks like it's over before it's even begun. :'( But I'll have to get it confirmed via BT on Monday. |

| I've started to bleed. So will see what happens over the next day with it. But I've never bled with my other PGs. Mind you I was taking Pessaries (progesterone supplements) so wonder if my body is reacting differently. DH just came home from work and I told him. He's gutted. |

Oh yes we will be finding out the sex as well We found out with #1 too. I was going to have a surprise this time around but decided I was too impatient! I'm meant to be having an early scan too. I want to use the same MW I had last time, however she is going to England from about 16 August, so if I'm much later than 01 August she won't be able to take me on (I was nearly 2 weeks overdue last time and had to be induced). Have you guys told many people or waiting until the 12 week mark? I have told quite a few - I didn't actually mean to but was a little bit excited

Almost everyone at my work knows, its hard to hide the daily puking in a small office :) plus a couple of close friends and my sister. It's hard to keep it a secret - my theory is, the people who know I'm pregnant are the people who I would turn to if I was miscarrying anyway. I'm hoping to get an early scan to establish how UTD I am. I have an appointment at GP tomorrow to get bloods, prenatal vitamins script and hopefully they'll give me a referral for a dating scan. I've not told heaps of people. As, because this wasn't planned, there will be people who judge me. As I was actually booked in to gets my tubes tied in a few weeks. So have told my Mum, my oldest daughter and a few friends. -------------

| I moved my BT to today. Clinic says I'm 13DPO and hCG is a mere 22. But I've the tiniest bit of brown spotting. Thought it was full on bleed when I saw it yesterday, but it's not eventuated to much at all! We do have a small chance it could end well, but after my last two times, I don't have high hopes. |

God! I'm going to be the first one on the list again for this in a due month. My PG is over. I'm just waiting for the MC to start. I have just taken a test and while there is a second line, it's so faint and as light as my POAS's on Thursday. I'm hating this journey right now and so wish we weren't one of 'those' couples to suffer IF and MC's. Jessy, I don't want you joining me this time! I'll be checking in to make sure everything is going well! I wish you ladies smooth PG and beautiful bubbas at the end of it! |

 Fairylight Angel I'm so sorry to hear that. Do they have any idea why pregnancies aren't sticking? Or can they not investigate at this stage? On the kind of plus side, you are able to conceive. Hopefully if not the end of this year, maybe 2013 will be your year. -------------

Hi all, Thought I would join here too if you don't mind. By my calculations I am due 12 August with #2 - my first, a girl, is almost 20 months now. The only pregnancy symptoms I have so far are tiredness and hunger but I'm pretty sure morning sickness didn't start until 8-9 weeks last time so I'm hoping it stays away for now. I've only told a few people so far, just friends, we are planning on telling our families at Christmas so have to keep it a secret until then which is really really hard as I'm sure you all know! |

Doesn't anyone else have a scan or appointment booked? I went to GP today. She gave me one of those Bounty Pregnancy packs. Gave me a script for Folic Acid and Iodine. Gave me a form for the 6 wk scan, which I have booked and got bloods taken. She says, same as my ticker. That I am 4wks + 4 days and did a pregnancy test to confirm. -------------

You pretty much push the "quote" tab on the last post with the list and delete the words "QUOTE" and the brackets from top and bottom and edit list to add whatever you need to. Welcome Aug13 and congrats! Will you be finding out babies sex?-------------

Thanks I don't know yet if we'll find out if we're having a boy or a girl. Always thought I would have to know as soon as possible, but my hubby is leaning more towards keeping it a surprise so we may just wait. I figure we have lots to get our heads around before having to make that decision.

Just added my dating scan on for next Tuesday Welcome Aug13! Exciting times ahead! You seem to be the only unpatient one so far as the rest of us are all finding out! lol Jessydukes - I need to double check my ticker, as it should be the same as yours, I noticed the other day it was showing up a day ahead of what I thought I was. Will wait until after my scan just in case my due date changes. The pressure is already on for me to have a girl (seen as I already have a boy). Work colleagues have all been saying they hope I have a girl etc. Plus MIL is obsessed with me having a girl because her oldest grandchild is a girl, followed by 12 boys  (So the odds are it will be another boy!). Anyone else going the annoying pregnancy symptom of waking up really early in the mornings and not being able to get back to sleep? I do! Today it was 5am! And for me, that's not normal. Normal is alarm going off at 7am and me finally getting up at 7:40am. Last early wake up was 6am. But today, 5am. So not impressed! Yet I am wide awake -------------

Yes!!! I'm glad it's not just me. I have been waking every night for at least a week and a half between 4am and 5am and it takes about an hour to get back to sleep. Of course, once the alarm goes off, I feel like I could sleep forever! Have you any idea how long this might go on? I figured my sleep would be disrupted later in pregnancy and obviously when bubs arrives, but I wasn't expecting it from 3 weeks ;) |

I have no idea. Because my youngest is nearly 3, I can't remember that far back LOL! I'm sure though, I just sleep heaps and was tired all the time with her. So being I wake early and like you, can take up to an hour to get back to sleep, if I manage to get back to sleep, it's a shock to my system! As I'm not a morning person. But pregnancy is forcing me to be  Yeah I always thought the sleep disruption is to be expected later in pregnancy, in preparation for a newborn and the disruption a newborn creates. -------------

Hi all I just did two pregnancy tests this morning and both positive - so fx that the next 12 weeks goes by quickly. Looks like due date will be 13th August and will book in to see GP next week. We've got an 8 month old as well so very exciting. Am a bit nervous about joining a due group (just in case) but really excited and figure if I do mc then at least there are a bunch of lovely people who understand. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

Just go to Lilypie and redo it to update you babies age and then replace the ticker you have there already and you can add one for the current pregnancy too. Welcome and congrats Markim. Hope this one is a sticky one Is this baby #2? And will you be finding out sex? Just so I can add all that to the due date list. Also, any scans or doctors visits booked, so I can add them too? -------------

Hi Ladies Welcome Markim! Glad your blood tests all came back normal Escadachic. Mine did too - I did ask the nurse "Am I still pregnant" Still doesn't feel real - I guess because I don't really have any symptoms apart from the tiredness.Aug13 - I can't remember with my last pregnancy whether I had trouble sleeping early on. I know I had a lot of trouble as soon as I had a decent sized bump and towards the end sleep was near impossible. I might buy one of those long pregnancy pillows and see if that helps this time around - saw them in Kmart the other week for quite a good price. Hi all, Sorry if this is a silly question, as I realise that everyone's circumstances are different, but I seem to have my first appointments booked way later than everyone else here (my first blood tests and scan are both booked for 12 weeks). Am I missing something? I've taken a couple of baby books out of the library and they seem to list a million tests that should or could be done at the first GP appointment. Any thoughts? Feel free to tell me to just be grateful that the doctor doesn't think I need anything sooner! Thanks :) |

Yay for the scan going well Jessydukes! Aug13 - the 6 week scan is a dating scan. Not really necessary if you know your due date though. Although if you can get your GP or midwife to refer you, it's quite cool to see a little heartbeat  I know my rough date, however think I ovulated very late in my cycle which could put my due date out by about a week so just double checking. Plus my midwife from last time is going to the UK mid August, so my due date will depend on whether she takes me on or I have to find another one. Anyone elses tummy feeling weird? Today mine felt funny, like really full. And it felt like I was gasping to get a decent breath. Aug13 - What Dejaca said is correct. The 6 week scans aren't mandatory, and aren't done as a rule - they tend to do them when they want to check the dates (or in my case, they called it a "validity scan" because of my recent miscarriage). If you want one then I don't think there's anything wrong with asking for one. Dejaca - I've been a little low on breath from time to time too. And my tummy feels really odd - very heavy, particularly low down behind my hipbones. And I've been having lots of gassy-like pains. Hi guys, I'm in got a bfp yesterday. Will be my first, fingers crossed. Due Aug 16th. Symptoms mildly tender breasts, full feeling and waking so so early !!!! I'm not vomiting yet is this a bad sign? |

Welcome Kellsz and congrats! Nah it's normal to not have vomiting. Nausea doesn't always equal vomiting. The morning sickness I'm told, can kick in later, at 8 wks. Though I have vomited 4 times in the last 2 days. Yeah the waking early business sux! My issue is, if I get woken by anything, I take nearly an hour to get back to sleep. -------------

Thanks guys, what vitamins are you taking? I'm just taking APO Folic acid.. I'm wondering if its enough? I looked at Blackmores which has heaps of vitamins but a lot less folic acid than the APO? Also do I need to make a appointment with a GP? what do they do? |

Hi Kellsz, Welcome!! In answer to some of your questions.... I've had no vomitting and almost no nausea since before my period was due. I do get a sore windy tummy and have to do lots of very loud un-ladylike burps, much to my husband's amusement ;) I've also been waking every night for the last few weeks and taking ages to get back to sleep, but it seems to have improved the last two nights. I went to the GP a few days after my missed period/BFP, he booked me in for a tweleve week scan with blood tests, all to be done on 23 January. Because there was no real question over dates, he didn't feel the need for an earlier scan. I'm not sure what other people have tested in early blood tests but my first ones are at 12 weeks. I did have my rubella and toxoplasmosis immunity status checked at a previous visit when I mentioned we were 'trying'. I've been taking elevit since coming off the pill, and will continue taking it until 12 weeks, when the doctor said he'd prescribe iodine for the remainder of the pregnancy and through breast feeding. Hope this helps.

Yeah would be good to make an appointment with your GP. As often midwives don't see you til closer to 12 wks or after. Though some see people earlier. GP will get you to get bloods taken. Which I think tests iron levels and all sorts of other things. Might get you to do another pregnancy test to confirm. Though not all do. Will give you an idea of when they think you are due. Will give you a Bounty Pregnancy pack too most likely and give you a script for Folic Acid and Iodine. I'm just taking Folic Acid and Iodine, vitamins wise. -------------

We have one sweet 21 month old girl already, so excited for her to become a big sister! We aren't going to tell anyone for a few weeks, but had to share somewhere! Hope you are all feeling good!
