Hi, I'm looking to buy a, from birth, buggy/pram which is fairly light weight and compact and which would be easy to get on and off public transport (mainly the bus). Also would be good if i could go running with it. Any recommendations?

Baby Jogger City Mini - lovely buggy, so easy to fold up, so light and compact. Tho you wouldn't be able to run with it, the wheels would be too small.

I see Mountain Buggy has just released a "mini" single buggy that maybe worth a look. http://mountainbuggy.com/en/buggies/single/mini

Good luck in your search.

I love my Mountain Buggy, it's so hard wearing, easy to fold, goes everywhere and does everything!

I, too, love my Mountain Buggy. I'm not a runner, so I can't particularly vouch for that portion of the question. However, I think it is an easy stroller to carry around off and on the bus, so that's a big plus.

Let us know what you choose and how you like it!

I now have my eyes on the Mountain Buggy Swift, which seems to be quite light and compact and also has an adjustable handle and a reasonable sized basket....now just have to hope one comes up for sale on Trademe

+ 1 for the Baby Jogger City Mini. It's lightweight and really easy to operate
