Hi there, was wondering if anyone could recommend me a really good midwife on the North Shore, Auckland??? This will be baby #2 for DH and I. With our first we had a bit of a complicated birth. The midewife we had was wonderful both antenataly and postnataly but at the birth she wasnt very helpful at all. So if anyone has had a bit of a complicated birth and their midwife was an absolute superstar please let me know. Thanks |

I use the Albany midwifes collective, they are based at Apollo medical centre, they work in pairs and you deal with both midwives throughout your pregnancy so you know them both really well, then when you go into labour you have who ever is on duty. My births haven't been complicated, but have been very quick and messy.. lots of fixing up to do afterwards, but have found them to be really great, ------------- http://alterna-tickers.com">
