Hi everyone, I just found out that we are pregnant. I had a vaginal ultrasound today and I am 4 weeks 5 days. I had a rubella vaccination at 2.5 weeks (unaware). I am meeting with the doctor again in 2 days to speak with a genetic specialist over the phone regarding this. Has anyone experienced this themselves? I am nervous as I just want a healthy baby and I am hoping they say there is a very minimal risk. Thanks.

Talking to your Dr is always the best idea, but at 2.5 weeks, you probably hadn't even implanted yet, so there wouldn't have been anything to affect? They do say the vaccination is fine when you are pregnant, and they just prefer to do it in the 3rd trimester as a precaution. Talk to your Dr, they will have the best advice! good luck!
