Hello everyone

Does anyone have a Mocka cot? Am looking into cots for our first bub. I came across mocka furniture online and like the look of their stuff. I like the fact they are an NZ company and the simplicity of the cot is appealing, risks all the safety boxes.
Anyone had any experience with them? will probably get a change table from them too.

Thanks

Hi there,

We have a Mocka cot and the change table too. We also have the adult chair- so comfy for feeding!
The cot is great- we have the Amalfi style one and I really really like it. We have the toddler conversion kit too for when it is time. I think it is a great price, great quality and looks SO stylish!

The changing table is really good too. Fergus is nearly one and we are still using it. Will probably stop soon though as he is getting big. My only negative about this is that the bottom of the drawers are not a hard thick piece of wood, they are more like a thin piece. They are fine and dandy but you couldn't put books in them- they would pop open (easy to reslide it back in though). We store bibs, blankets, and clothes in them and that is fine.

Hope that helped!

Thanks teacher lady!

Yes I was looking at that cot the Almafi one. Cool think that's made my mind up.
I couldn't see the adult chair but will look online again as we want a chair for baby's room in which I can feed.

Thank you!!

Yes we do! In red and the footrest- it was a good deal around this time last year. The chair is way comfy and we will use it in the library/study area (love books!) when we no longer need it in Ferg's room.
Yay- I LOVE that cot!

I have an mocka cot and change table.
Have enjoyed the style and simplicity of the cot. HAve to say tho, I struggled when it was in the lower position [when baby is pulling themselves up you have to lower it obviously!] it is a 'long way down' to lower them onto the mattress [and I'm tall] Was very hard doing this when I got pregnant again too! sore back and hard on my body being pregnant and lowering baby #1 into cot. now we have it toddler style with 2 year old still loving it.
change table is fine...but not great quality i reckon [but hey get what we pay for with the price!] its chipping etc around the edges of the melamine after 2 years of use. i still use it with 2 year old [bang on average girl according to plunket visit recently] agree with above that the drawers are really only good for naps, clothes etc not heavy stuff. the runners are not that good either but hey! great to be wipeable and not spend alot but have something that looks great and is perfectly serviceable. good luck shopping! its the fun bit!
