Question!
Has anyone tried the 'Go go bag' from merino kids or similar. The idea sounds good, breathable, regulates temperature and prevents waking due to kicking off covers. I was set to get one on special for when our first bub arrives but then I thought about swaddling, how am I meant to swaddle him if he's in a Go go bag?
Anyone have any experience or ideas?

Hi Babycakes,
I haven't used the Gogo bag, but have used other sleeping bags for my baby. I swaddled Fergus for his first few weeks, but he really didn't like it, so switched to a sleeping bag around 6-7 weeks. You wouldn't have to use the bag immediately? You could swaddle and see, like I did?

Thanks Teacher Lady,
That's a good idea, I guess he won't want to be swaddled forever either and taking into account they can fit in until two years of age then I will surely get some use.

I swaddled my son for 5 months then we used the go-go bag. He grew out of his 0-2 size bag at about 12 months though.. But it was great while we had it. Will probably get him the next size up now.

We swaddled the LO till she was 3 months, then switched to sleep bags. We have a both a go go bag and a grobag. I really liked the idea of the merino of the go go bag, but I don't find she stays as warm in it as the grobag. I also find the travel holes a bit annoying at the moment, as she's at just the right length for her feet to keep popping through in her sleep lol! That said, I've had to take DH to the train station a couple pf mornings lately and it's been sp useful to just get her out of her bassinet and pop her straight into the capsule with her gp gp bag on. I'm terrified of SIDS (or whatever it's called now), so I can't bring myself to use blankets on her yet :)
