hello team-mates hehe.
k, i will start this week too, but i wont be at my strongest, will stick to the challenge and cut out all my naughties this week, but dont expect too much from me for a few weeks when i will get FULL on into a proper diet because hopefully by then my darling kayla will be fully bottlefed, and then i WILL be dropping those kilos. just hope that i dont let us down this week. i have been very steady weight since kaylas birth and havent gained a kilo but havent lost either and i have had the worst diet (thanks to my hubby being a baker and baking yummy cookies, and having a wee choccie obsession! lol) so i'm feely pretty positive that even though im not doing my complete "lifestyle" change for a week or so i will be cutting out that crap so maybe it will do something, but JUST forewarning you guys that i wont be at my best for a few weeks, blahblah
man i ramble! sorry!
anyway goodluck team
my goal is 10kg to start with then anything after that is a great bonus (could go up to 14kg happily)

Much to my embarassment, I just posted in the opposition team thread hehehe oops... Anyway this is what I said:
I've done my walk and crunches today too. I've not been so good on the water, but have had a 750ml Pump bottle full of it so it's better than what I usually do! I might even indulge in some pilates later on before bed.
At the beginning of this challenge, I thought heck! Jez wants us to exercise every single day!!! But when I was out there walking (with no pram, listening to some mad tunes on my mp3 player which was bliss!) I thought it's good to be every day because then I don't get the chance to say 'oh well I didn't walk today but I will tomorrow' and then saying the same thing again tomorrow! Much easier to say that if the challenge was set at say 4 times a week. So all good with the every day thing!! It's great motivation.

I had a really good exercise day and can thoroughly recoemmend FUN exercise to you ladies....kites. Bought one from farmers today for $3 and Jake and I spent the afternoon "flying" it. well, it stayed i the air for a record 10 seconds at one point, but Jake had a good time and kept yelling bugger when it nose-dived. Went for a walk AS WELL (i know, how good am I?) and am feeling very exerciastional. don't know how long it will last though. I start these things will gusto and fizzle out by day three. Must do crunches and drink more water.!

The biggest problem I have is that I have to eat up all the 'goodies' so I wont be tempted by them. Was very good at work, didn't eat banana cake that someone made. My hardest part of the day is when I get home from work...I always snack when I'm getting the kids dinner ready.

lol linda! good theory eating all the "goodies" so there are none left mmm.... and i love the kite idea lizzle, i wouldnt of thought about that sounds fun, might have to walk into town later and buy one hope this cloud goes thogh or else i'd get pretty wet. grr to the weather.

I hate exercise usually..a lot! so anything that i can do that I enjoy is good for me. I have that Push Play chart if anyone wants some other ideas...or you can just go to the push play website.

Some good hints for snack foods is Cutting up fruit, celery, carrot sticks and putting them in the fridge at eye level so its the first thing you see when you open it for a snack
Works for me
Keep it up ladies your all doing so well

Hey Lizzle I'd be interested on what else is on the Push Play chart. Kite flying sounds great and I think that will be a good Christmas Present for the kids....I just would never have thought of it.
I always buy junk food when it is on sale and stock up large but I've nearly got rid of it all (ok, I ate it up).

hehe, i live at the bottom of our foothills, i always tend to walk towards the town which is down and the walk home gets tough because its a definate slope upwards and ya can feel it! blah!
i just got home from a LOVLELY family walk an hours walk too. i feel really good. had such a yucky tired day yesterday. ohoh and i have polished off heaps of water. not feeling so good though, scales are a bit scarey! definatly not going to get on them until weigh-in now.
cant wait to be able to get really hard into it, kayla is taking 3 bottles now out of 6 feeds. she had a bad night though with lots of runny poo's and a very sore bum so hope its not a reaction to the formula, or else i'll be putting it all on hold
hope everyone is doing ok...

I just have a sly little note to add here after reading about walking up hills - Lu! Do it!!!
I live on a MEGA hill and I walked to the top of the road the other day - carrying my little monster who decided half way up that she couldn't walk anymore. (I don't really blame her, I was meant to turn back but then got curious as to where the top of the road led to! hehe)
It's an excellent work out... maybe just do it in bits... and then work up to getting to the top.
But I do agree with the pushing pram thing... maybe try James in a backpack?
