HI - I'm new to this forum.
Just wanted some tips on how to re-settle my 9week old who has just started waking after every 45min sleep cycle during the day.She sleeps ok at night but day time is misery. She can't resettle when she wakes. She goes down wide awake in her bassinet and goes to sleep fine but when she wakes its a whole new story. I'm trying a resettling technique that plunket told me about but was going to look at controlled crying if it doesn't work.
If she wasn't tired, I'd get her up but she still is as she shows tired signs immediately. Shes not hungry and shes fairly dry, not hot etc.
Any ideas please!!!

Ok, the bad mummy tips are:
Let her cry!
Instead of doing controlled crying just try the 10 minute up and cuddle then back to sleep.
Ok enough of that garbage...
Good mummy tips:
Wrap her tightly
Make sure that she is clean, warm, fed!
I normally give Olivia a berth of 20 minutes before and after each nap to give her the chance to re-settle herself.
I remember at 9 weeks Olivia was doing much the same thing as well so if anything I imagine this to be just a stage (crap to hear that though). Although she was doing 1 hour awake 30 minutes sleep and I was freakin exhausted!
Hope everything gets better!
