Ok, I am always in need of tips and hints but I rarely buy womens magazines that have them inside so I figure, why not start my own thread and see what is out there!
A couple of my own! I use left over sauce from my meals and freeze them as soup bases or sauces for another meal. Piggy banks, bank accounts or funds for tertiary education can make gift giving a whole lot easier for families and friends, especially when our kids are little and don't need the toys! Always take an extra layer of clothing with you when you go out so that you have something to sit on if it is hot and grassy or keep you warm when it is cold and nasty! ------------- DD1 May 2006 DD2 March 2011 DD3 August 2012 |

When you need to sit down and have a break, paint your toddler's nails with nail polish, then your own (while theirs are drying and they watch you). Or get balloons.
Get hubby to look after the kids at prep-for-dinner time. It gives you a bit of breathing space in the kitchen so they don't run under-foot - almost as good as having time-out!  -------------  |
