Just wondering if the egg implants early (say 6DPO) if this means the due date would be a couple of days earlier than it is if calculated from ovulation?
In other words - I know the embryo starts dividing and growing from conception - but does it speed up once implantation has occurred?

yep it can make a difference I was told. dont know the details about it all but yes it can change your date. but dont focus on that, some babies measure a bit out the whole way through, and come out just perfect Smile

Measured only 2 days further than expected which I think is good anyways, means its growing well. But wondered if the due date was actually the new date or the date I got from ov. I know it doesn't make much difference but I've told family all different dates and now I don't even know which one to believe lol

Normally they wont change your due date unless it was out by over a week so you'll probably keep the original one.

If it's a couple of days I wouldn't worry about it. This time around we will only be telling people the due month as last time was 40+9 days when I had out daughter and people kept harassing us from the due date asking if baby had arrived.

Good to know. The midwife was writing the earlier date on all my papers when I saw her on Saturday. I've told a few people "late April". I know not to expect a baby exactly on that date though, hopefully it's not too late though!
