My baby is moving into his own room today....Since he's been sleeping throught he night JK has decided it would be a good idea to put him in his cot which has been set up in his room since before he was born...i have been putting it off for the last couple of weeks making up excuses for him to stay in his bassinette in our room but after waking up this morning and finding his head hard up againt the top and his feet touching the bottom of the bassinette i think for safety reasons it's time to move him into his cot I'm going to miss him and all the funny sounds he makes while he's sleeping....

Awwww, you can do it. My bubba only went into her own room about 2 weeks ago and I felt the same as you but now, I am really happy about it as we are all sleeping that much better!

Good luck

Big hugs Deez! Maya was never in our room, but I remember lots of tears when she moved from her cot into a big bed - silly really but it's so hard watching them grow up!

Big hugs to you... Emma Rose moved into her own room/cot when she was 6 months old, and she's slept through the night ever since. We had a couple of nights of adjustment in the beginning, where I would wake up expecting that she'd be awake for a feed, but since now she can't hear/smell/sense us in the room with her, she's slept... well... like a baby!

It was a hard transition for us, though... Make sure you get lots of extra cuddles before bedtime! Soon you'll be sleeping better too!
