Hi. I am 6 months pregnant. I have been living with type 2 diabetes for the past 3 years. I am facing some severe dental issues now. I have periodontitis, which is an advanced stage of gum disease. I guess, I need an orthodontic treatment immediately. I have bone loss along with inflammation and my teeth has started losing its position. But before that, I would like to know whether anyone here had faced similar situations during their pregnancy? Is it safe to undergo this procedure now?
