Blake had his Paedeatric Appt today for his reflux... We discussed everything and have avoided going onto any kind of medicines. Instead he is to be started on some baby rice twice a day and a possible top up with Soya Milk formula if needed in a week or so. He said it appears that Blakes problem is that he is seemingly hungry..so literally gulping his feeds in 6 minutes flat. Getting chronic reflux and bad wind on top of his already mild reflux and escalating the problem which can be fixed he thinks with satisfying/supplementing his appetite and giving MUM a break here and there. He said he should be feeding at least four hourly by now too (which Blake has never ever done) which is another reason why introuducing solids and a top up "apparently" is going to settle everything down. Interesting HUH???? Plunket would not be happy with that one aye!
The reason that he has recommended Soya Milk formula is because I have asthma and Exczema. He told me all about Lactose free formulas and alsorts and was very interesting.I understand a lot more now. So anyway..I gave him his Baby rice and I think he thought he was being poisoned!!!! -------------

hehe i have had ella on solids from early on and she keeps it down well and LOVES her veges to has soy all the other times but feeds every 3 hours cant wait to see our paed on weds.
Im so glad things are sorted out for you and you know where you stand now
