Well, it's finally happened. Greg Wiggle has quit due to a rare illness (not life threatening, but somewhat debilitating). I am really curious to see whether Jake will notice. Hopefully this means the Wiggles will tour next year and I can pay $120 so my family can see them.

His understudy (if that's what ya call it!) is taking over - and apparently he fills in quite a bit... so shouldn't be a major change.
A bit sad though about Greg - hopefully he gets the rest he needs! (Geez, who'd have thought I'd be saying something like this a couple of years ago!??!) |

Kiya was all funny after the news article aired, and I ended up spending about ten minutes talking it through with her. She finally agreed that while it was sad it wasn't bad, and that it is good Greg is looking after himself.

Oh I can't believe it but I was sad too Alan is a wiggles freak(well his mummy is ) it will be little weird as he is the lead singer too so it will all sound totally diff. Oh well.------------- Deborah Mum to:

I know...total shock.
Some sh*tty Radio station here in NZ said any dick and Harry can fill his shoes....wha??? what ever!!! I will miss him...hopefully Zaara wont notice....man she is such a Wiggles Fan. So far we have 5 DVDs.... For thosw who know wiggles....the guy who plays "prof Singalotasong" and one of the opera singinging pirate is replacing him. He is OK but Greg will be missed!! LOL...No they dont cover Wiggles....but sometimes I wish they did ..prepare us for it! LOL

I watched the press converence they had yesterday on Sky News. He sounded a bit bummed to have to give it up, but for your health you have to do these things. The "Blue" guy (so can't remember his name) said that Sam had filled in a number of times before so was going to fit right in. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Yeah I only know Jeff and Greg by name - Andrew likes them but isn't right into them which is good cos he is a Thomas Freak and being a freak with one thing is enough for me. | we belong to the wiggles fan club (Jake insisted) and there is no news of a tour anytime soon. will let everyone know though. If you have a visa card, join visa entertainment and you often get the ticketek news. If they do come, we are definitely going! |
