We have two kids, 8 and 2. We both work M-F during the day. I feel like we're always playing catch up and our family life is never structured enough. I feel like my kids are missing out on quality time with the family and the lack of structure makes everything chaotic. I feel like our kids never know what to expect because it's never the same, or sometimes we're just counting the minutes until bedtime because it's all too much. We do eat dinner together every day, but that's about it.
What do other working parents have in terms of a routine and structure for their family life? How do you manage everything so there is equal/enough time for family, fun, chores, learning, etc.?
