Excuse this rant, but I am so peeved right now. IRD have stuffed up. we were surpose to get paid is this week (we chage payments to weekly last week.) The stupid woman I spoke last week never changed it so now I have to wait and see if maybe they will give me the money tonight. If not I will have to wait till next week. Thing isa we are out of nappies and I had the car booked in for a warrent today now we can't do it. I want the bloody money now!!! So now I have to wait for someone to call from the local office to discuss if it an emergacy for me to get the money.

Oh and the woman will be spoken to wippy.
Ok so sorry guy's rant over.

I really feel for you deb. They are pretty fast at jumping all over you when you owe them money, but it's very slow they other way. They owe me over $2500, and it has been about 5 months since I got my letter, and countless phonecalls... I was told that they were waiting on Rods IR5, which they have had for well over a month now. Stupid thing is if you didn't need the money, you wouldn't be asking for it!

Deb if it takes too long I think they just leave it for the end-of-year wash-up. I guess if you're really tight you could go and talk to WINZ about getting grocery vouchers?

Well we got the money yesterday and managed to get the car done I have still layed a formal complaint with them I thinkl the chick htat made the mistake needs to know that it really stuffed us up. I don't want her to lose her job or anything, but I think people that work at call centre somtimes for get we are people and their action's or lack of them in this case really stuffed us up.

I rang IRD yesterday to chase up my money, and "apparently" They have sent me a new personal tax summary, which i should recieve by the 29th december. I asked the lady (actually sounded like a young girl) if she could tell me if I was still getting a refund or if I was owing them money, and "apparently" she couldn't tell me. I then asked her if I would be collecting intrest on the money they owe me, she said no. I asked well, how come then, you charge penalty intrest on all money people owe you not paid on time? She didn't know... DONT MESS WITH PREGNANT PSYCHO HORMONE CHICK
