Sorry if TMI - but you were warned 
I didn't have an AF until 3 1/2 months after having the CS and that was "normal" just like the ones I had before I got preggy - lasted 6 days and that was it. This time around, I was a week late to the day and havent stopped bleeding! It's been really heavy and a little clotty but I'm mostly worried about my tummy feeling REALLY sore, especially if I poke it (so try not to do that too often). I've put off going to the Dr's for various reasons (mostly wanted to sort Caitlin's jabs out first incase we ended up staying at the hospital again). I've made an appointment to see the GP tomorrow morning and I've got to say... I'm absolutely terrified 
I like to get myself all worked up over stuff I know nothing about  and have convinced myself that it's something resulting from the CS and that will cause us issues when we want to TTC #2 (I told you all I was nuts!

Hmmmm hasn't happened to me but I can definitely tell you that my cycles are completely up the wop. I'm charting to see what on earth my body is doing and my current chart is already a lot longer than it ever used to be.
As for the sore tum, do you have stretch marks? My stretch marks are incredibly sore to touch! I'm like you, I get worked up about everything! Even before there's something to worry about. I hope you get some sort of answers from your doc to put your mind at ease.

Hey Toni, my first real AF that returned after I gave birth by CS was a very owie owie and heavy one as well. I was assured that it was completely normal (yay scar tissue) and my body was just giving a good clean out. Maybe you had a mini AF first before the BIG nasty one. Dammit, you got all the luck! My first AF was nearly 7 months after my CS and the next one was 5 weeks after that, so totally up the whop, but that is quite normal I am told. I got my next one pretty much to the day that it was due and that one was heavier than the others. I can't remember if mytummy was really sore but I know the cramps I was getting were just horible and I had never really experienced that before. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I know I should have asked the other CS ladies before I listen to any of my mates that really don't kno what they're talking about! One even suggested that perhaps my uterus doesn't remember how to line itself and will just keep on bleeding, the other suggested endo

I had my first AF last month after my CS and it was fine. Now I'm not looking forward to the next one!

yes there's news (sorry was at a work BBQ all day)
OK so all is well (and I'm not entirely nuts  )
When my second period started I started taking the pill and a couple of days after that I started to feel REALLY down, like spiralling out of control, being angry and upset and fed up with everything and everyone. This is VERY out of character for me, so I looked at what was new in my life and the only new thing was the pill. I stopped taking it (only after 4 days in the green section). At the time I was having a "normal" period but was very heavy and clotty, and after I stopped taking it I just continued to bleed as heavy etc for another 2 weeks!
I spoke to my GP (who is the best in the world btw!) and I told her about how I felt and we chatted about life in general (changes to our lives since having bubs etc) and she said that in her professional opinion, I wasn't clinically depressed and that I had a reaction to the hormone levels in the pill (can send people loopy if the dose is too high). She told me that the make-up of people's bodies can dramatically change after having a baby and that things I was normally ok with (I had taken this pill before) could have a negative effect on me now. As for the 3 week bleeding she said that would have been becasue I stopped taking the pill after introducing it into my system - so my body thought that the 28 days had already passed and gave me a period again. *man - do i waffle or what!?!? LOL* So... I've decided that we will look at other concraception options that don't involve me putting chemicals into my body.
