Ah 'tis very complicated for little babes... did ya get it sorted Vanessa? I can try and explain if you'd like...?

And I just found this thread! Thanks Kaz Love ya too! Especially after that big order

Leish - I'm more than happy to come visit you and show ya them. No pressure to buy... it's just fun to look. We could make a coffee date?

Oh and Jess - they have snaps like fuzzis but HEAPS more of them so they can fit a really wide range of babies. I could bring some to show you too

nikki, sadly no, i'm snaps challenged! i had a look on a website that showed me how to do it up, followed that and it still seems to be quite loose around her thighs. maybe she's just in between snaps at the mo

It can also be too much stuffing to gape at the legs?

The Mummy's Touch have quite good leg elastic and lots of stuffing room... so gaping isn't likely to be an issue.

I'll try and explain the snap setting for the smallest one and see if you understand. If all else fails, (and you have the time) go back into Mum & Bubs and I'm sure she'll show ya how to do it.

1. I snap the left wing on the bottom row of horizontal snaps with the two top snaps on that wing, fasten past the center snaps (so there are four snaps left on the right hand side - permitting that her belly fits!)

2. Then fold the right wing over and snap onto the two snaps on the left wing (the two snaps going vertical) and the other top snap just past the snap that the left wing is snapped on.

3. Fold the top down and snap onto the two snaps that are looking at ya on the front of the nappy.

If you go to the thread called "Show us ya cloth bots!" and look at Angel's pics, she has one of Toby in a Chocolate Mummy's Touch which is snapped on the smallest setting. That might give you an idea. And tip of the day: figure it out before you try and put it on babe. I can't imagine anything worse than trying to work out a snap setting with a wriggly babe on the inside!!!

Good luck!!!!

It does take a bit to get used to - and then just when you are used to it she'll change sizes with the snaps

Oh god, just read that and it is horribly complicated!!!! I'm terrible at giving driving directions too... can ya tell? If you sit with the nappy in front of you there is a slight possibility you'll understand. Sorry!!

ahhhh nikki you're a legend! i was snapping the right side first so of course, the snaps didn't match up to get a good fit!
now, i know, i'm the dumb one that didn't look at the nappy and see the snaps are different on the flaps and try it the other way
haven't tried it on charli as she's asleep, but will as soon as she gets up! i'm loving the cloth nappies! she's wearing her peapod at the mo
i just need to get more as i only have 2 pockets and a cover so they don't last long.

I naturally fold the right side first as well... so can understand how you'd miss it. And I've played with the nappy so long now that if I didn't have it atleast 1/2 figured out I'd be seriously worried! hehe

If you join up to the Nappy Network they have trading section where there is always quite a bit for sale at great prices. Those ladies are all so addicted that often the nappies have barely been worn!
