I'm so sorry he's being like that.. I think he is normal though.. not that it helps you! Kids are always good for other people but not for their parents.. if it makes you feel any better, Ella received a smack on the hand today as she came into the house and dumped a mixture of dirt and water all over the carpet :hugs:

kids can be soooo testing to us cant they?! my girl emma is the same, she is a wee sweetie, but can get a little naughty at times and any form of discipline makes her really sad... makes me feel so bad. and i guess now being the holidays wont be helping , my two are already missing preschool and kindy and are starting to play up- argh and its only the start of the holidays! lol.

Ellen it's good for him to have some boundaries and structure at home. If you can nip things in the bud you'll be able to avoid getting angry most times but it does happen. Whenever I smack our girls I try and do it from the stand point that I'm training them to respect rules and behave, rather than take my frustration out on them.

Don't feel bad that he's acting up at home not school, that just shows he's more comfortable at home (we all are more likely to lose it at home than at work or in a shop). If you can keep some kind of structure at home like regular meal times etc that may help him adjust from school every day to home every day.
