if anyone finds naked photos of babies offensive.
i was talking to a guy the other day and he said i shouldn't post naked photos of mikey because people might find it offensive (he did). he actually thought i shouldn't even TAKE naked photos of mikey but i poo-pooed that idea.
but it got me thinking. i've never seen anything wrong with a naked bubba, in fact i think they're really cute! but i also wouldn't want to offend anyone else so i guess i'm really just looking for your opinions as to whether naked babies are offensive to you. if they are then i'll definitely stop posting photos like that because i really wouldn't want to offend anyone.

no way! naked bubbas are cute, but watch out Mikey lol, my mum kept some of me and I tried to hide them from her as I didn't want my friends seeing them haha..but failed
I do not find them offensive at all, however, I don't post naked pics of Ella as I think about the weirdos who could be looking at them on the net

I don't find them offensive however DH and I have said we won't take any naked photos of our bubs. DH finds them very degrading especially now when people see them in photo albums of him as a kid and I must say I don't exact appreciate the ones my mum has of me either.

i dont take any offence to naked babies - although if i am taking the photos i try to avoid their private bits by covering with a flanel or something if its a bath shot etc... and i also worry about who else might see them especially on the net (sad but there are sick people out there) i dont mind people seing my naked baby photos either (i think i was kinda cute once upon a time! lol)

I don't think it is offensive but i agree about posting them on the net with all the weirdos around. My mum actually said that to me after I put on of Ethan on my website and I quickly took it off.
I think they are cute but probably not best to have them posted on the net in my opinion.

I wouldn't post ones where you could see a bubbas "bits". You know, when they have a leg covering it or are turned a particular way and you can't really see their bits I think thats ok but for the same reason that Meow said - you don't know who could be watching...

I agree...I wouldn't post one were you can see "bits". I have some naked pic of Maddie where you can see everything but we'll just keep them on disc and not print them.

I'm not offended by them but I try to take "discreet" photos of our kids because of how embarrassed my parents' photos of me make me feel. So for example if it's a bath shot (if they're out of the bath they have a nappy on, no exceptions! ) then I take a "cropped" photo or use a flannel.

yeah there are far too many weirdos out there....
I would take them on digicam and print out at home...wouldnt put them through a phtoo lab to develop now...and would post so long as no genitals showing of either gender....
otherwise not offensive - just cute...btu can see how some take it the wrong way....
I loved the butt one the other day - too cute...but wouldnt want to see his bits! nor have them on internet for all to see....

Gosh reading this post it is sad that the world has turned a purely innocent photo of a naked baby into something we shouldn't do or afraid of sharing due to some sick people out there.
BTW i have a few naked photos of all my kids including Rhyley and see nothing wrong with it.

it's really interesting seeing all the different points of view, i still don't see anything worng with naked photos of babies, i think that's when they're in their element, but this thread has made me think twice about putting naked photos of mikey on the net. i wouldn't want him being stared at by some pervert.
as for the naked photos of me when i was young, i think they're really cute and i'm not embarassed by anyone seeing them.

I think naked babies are cute as, I have taken several photos of Charlotte naked, none posted on the net but I have let others see them.
They are so pure and innocent. Its a shame that we have people out there who turn it into something sick.

Ella - I agree with you re. my naked baby photos, lol, obviously my body is a lot different now and I don't mind if people see my naked baby photos, and there are heaps of those - Hippy parents here too
I also take naked photos of Joey. I do take care not to post pictures where too much is showing online though.

Same here, naked babies are gorgeous! Ella still loves to strip off and run around and often thats when great photo opps will occur.
I wouldn't ever post them online but don't mind friends or family seeing them. (Chaces are she'll be running round naked in front of them at the time anyway!)
