OK so I have completly forgotten what I went through with my pregnancy with Andrew so I have to ask a silly question. I was out walking this evening with Andrew and had a series of painful pressure. So my silly question is: Is that is head or other body part pushing down in a way ready to come out? Or something not even related to pregnancy. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Sorta hurts your pelvic bone on one side? It could be head or bottom starting to settle. Different babies settle differently so you may not have even felt it like that with Andrew. If you have a good poke around when you first wake up you will probably be able to feel whether it is a bottom or head by now - like your midwife does - at 33wks the head will feel like a tennis ball. The bottom is a bit broader and less bony lol.

I've already started the waddling . Hes head down as I can get hold of a foot for just a short time. And I can tell its his back and butt doing the moving around and we can sit there and watch him move about very scary Andrew loves it. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Yep I know what you're saying cause I almost had a c/s with #2 (breech) and that would have been my last chance. I felt at 22 (then) it was far too young to decide something like that. Fortunately my VBAC was successful. ------------- |

Yay leaves the options open for you, so right far to young to have those restrictions thrown at you. We tried inducing for 3 days with #2 but mw started to get a bit worried that at 12days over baby might be getting a bit too big for natural birth and she still hadn't droped at all, anyway at that stage it was all too much of an emotional roller coaster ride & I consented to section but knew that this one wasn't as big as 1st 1st was 8lb 13oz, 2nd 8lb 7oz. ------------- Kerryn, Mum to Ashlyn(29/3/04), Anastasia(1/11/05) & Abigail (24/02/09) |
