We got given a chest freezer and had it for about a month unplugged as we didn't really have much to go in it. Now my dad has been given a key to the garage where it is located and within the past couple of weeks our freezer is almost full.. he has sourced...

- 6 dozen yoghurts - apricot and kiwiana flavors (yum!)
- 25kg of savaloys (however it's spelt)
- 30kg of sliced sandwich ham

and just now he's dropped off

- 20kg of sausage meat (for the dog)
- about 5kg of cheeses
- 10kg of some other ham but he's going to take that home after work

hahaha my dad rocks

If any of the Palmy ladies want some sandwich ham they can get some from me if they want (in bulk lol). We have just frozen it and DH just thaws it when he wants some but it's going to take him about 10 years to eat that much sandwich ham since I can't help him being a vegetarian. But various other friends have come around to raid the freezer and help with the yoghurts because 6 doz yoghurts is quite a bit of yoghurt - but at least this family won't be lacking in calcium for a little while hehe

yeah it's quite a lot of packets when it comes in nice little things of 10 slices and then once you stack that up it takes up about 1/5th of our freezer. The in laws like it
