The dreaded thing happened today. While I was in bed resting, Hannah came to visit me and on her way back to the lounge she met the neighbour's cat in the hallway  He had jumped onto our gate, then up to our upstairs balcony, jumped into a window which opens onto the balcony from the lounge, walked through the lounge, down the stairs, through the laundry and into the downstairs hallway.... ambitious cat!
Well Hannah got a huge fright and yelled/screamed before coming back to me, at which point I dragged my weary body out of bed to chase the cat out of the house.... by then he was nowhere to be found (fortunately). So I went back to Hannah (I had shut her in the bedroom lol) to cuddle and reassure and all that.... After things had settled down, I said to her that she could just say "pssshh" if a cat gets too close and they don't like that noise and run away, and then she said, "Or you can just yell and they FLY!"

he he, am glad Paris is not the only one scared of cats.

I would've got a fright too. Outside is one thing but suddenly appearing in your own house?!?!?! argghhh I'm not very happy about it... but what Hannah said cracked me up so hard! ------------- |
