Hey all, Just wanting to know if anyone has come across their baby spewing flem like subtance that has a brown tinge to it???? Also quite thick and hard to bring up? Rang plunket hotline and they say Jaxon could be getting the cold???

He was quite unsettles and it was like he was constipated but hes not. hes finally asleep now.

by the way he is breast fed and have not eaten anything ot of the ordinary and he is no longer on solids.

it may be that he is getting a cold if he gets a raspy chest it may pay to take him to the doctor

I agree with James.  Also - are your nipples damaged?  Ella spewed like that when mine where, the brown was blood.  If he brings it up just after a feed and it's red-tinged, or quite a while after and it's brown, that's likely the case.  But if you're worried, Doc visits are free(ish)... yay!
