Just thought i would enter gabriel in baby of the week and saw that it gives you a date your child will appear now. it also had a preview of the upcoming comps too. so i had a look.... there were so many duplicate pics and the same child in lots of them with diff pics.
Good on you oh baby for this new feature, but you could have at least gone thru and deleted the duplicates. i did also see that jake and taine were in the same week as the triplets... uh oh... that will be a hard choice... ------------- http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker">

Wow I just had a look myself and there are SO many duplicates! I guess some people with slow internet speeds couldn't wait and entered a bunch of times?

wo! i only went halfway to through the second page.... i saw SOOOOOOOOOoo many duplicates too- that is a same becasue it does push other babies down further on the list while one baby appears lots 2,3 or4 times etc... but it is pretty cool to see whats coming up  i saw a few ohbaby babies  didnt see my girl though, mind you i gave up pretty quickly lol.

| I only got to the second page too, couldnt find addison but i know it wasnt a flash photo of her cos I couldnt figure out how to shrink the photo at that stage. I think i entered her almost 7 months ago!!!! Some strange and pretty cool names on there. |

ok i am on the second page and i must admit there is a few double ups - which they say they don't allow but one that has heaps and i am sick of seeing - sorry if its your child is one called 'caitlin' its been in there like 5 times at least so far and i am only half way thru pg 2. gosh and Jade Simons on the 15th feb 08 hes got 2of the same photo on the same pg - got a bit of an advantage there huh! and again on the 18th march. whoop who did this mother bribe its on twice in one comp on the 3rd april. now this is getting silly its in 19th april too, 21st may (and caitlin shows again) and...
YAY Rhyley shows up ... on the 21st May '08'... funny same comp is that Jade and caitlin LOL Right now that i found my babe I shall stop but surely ohbaby ppl need to get rid of these double ups, i understand theres loads of photos but come on.... i mean maybe i am missing out because I have only entered Rhyley once?????? ------------- Ann

I know what you mean thunderwolves! I entered Xavier last week with a current photo, and he's not up until August 1st next year! He's 10 weeks old in the picture, but he'll be 20 months old by the time the picture comes up!

| Hey girls, we're glad you like the new feature. We're working on removing the duplicates, but please be patient with us. We're a very small operation and don't have heaps of people to do all the things that need done on the site, so it may take us a wee while to get all the repeats out of there! Jade Symons or Jade Tane Timothy - (2008) 2 on 15/2, 2 on 26/3, 2 on 3/4, 3 on 11/4, 19/4, 13/5, 21/5, 29/5, 6/6, 14/6, 22/6, 30/6, 8/7, 16/7, 24/7, 1/8!!! there are LOTS SMORE!!! these ones just jumped out! especially the 2 or 3 photos of the same baby on the same page! |

In theory when we remove the duplicates the other babies will move up the order as each week needs to have 9 babies to fit the correct format.

i think there is enough babies in each comp - and once the duplicates are deleted and they move up it wont be so bad.
maybe they could look at closing the comp for a time... and perhaps have a feature where you can only enter once...you know how they wont let you vote once can not the same thing be applied to entering. ------------- http://www.myfitnesspal.com/weight-loss-ticker">

Oky doky - the latest is that we are going to increase the number of entries in each week to 15 and delete all of the duplicates. We are still looking at ways of preventing multiple entries but we are working on it. If you have already entered then you should be able to find your baby in a future week.
