My belly button is an inny, and at 25 weeks pregnant, it's still an inny, although it's closing up by the minute!
DP has convinced me that because my belly button is soooo deep (Like freakishly deep, sorry TMI but I can fit my middle finger in there past the knuckle..) that it's going to pop right out the opposite way.. Is it?
What's going on with all the belly buttons out there?
I was inspired by Aleisha's cute little bellybutton in the June thread..

i'm not sure about really really deep ones but i used to have an inny and it popped out and by the end of the pregnancy it looked like i didn't have a belly button at all because it was stretched flat. it never went back to what it was before i got pregnant (just like the rest of my body *sigh*), now i almost have an outy.
lol, i'll be quite interested to see what your belly button does, keep us posted

Mine isn't all that deep but it has scars in it from surgeries so never actually goes all the way out. In fact (I just had a look) its still an innie (just a little thou) and I don't have all that much longer to go.

Heh, I'm certainly wondering what it's going to do. I think 'hopefully' like yours it will just stretch out flat, cause if it sticks right out like a finger I won't be very impressed!
It's taking soooooooo long to do it though, I can still get my finger in there quite a long way..

Mine is pretty deep and popped out a little by the time the gremlins were born but not when I was pregnant with Maya. It moved when I was preg with the gremlins too - they grew up really high so my bellybutton was really high up my tummy. You can see it in this pic, just a tiny little speck abot 2/3 of the way down my bump...

Mine has been inny all the way, although almost flat in the last 1-2 months. And apparently there is something near the tummy button (inside) which stretches and that's what you're probably feeling Bombshell. Not comfy! I started a thread about it a couple of months back which is a bit informative.

Mine is really deep too and at the end with Jack it was still an inny but squashed so the hole wasn't as wide if that makes sense.

Has anyone got their tummy button pierced? I know it has to come out - but am wondering how soon to do it?
Anyone have any experiences?

Jax kept hers in all the way thru you can get special bars.
I took mine out at around 25 weeks as it got real sore but it went straight back in after Jack was born.

Mine is a really deep inny like yours- with DD it stayed an inny and just got shallower. This time its about the same as what it was with her- I really doubt it would pop out like your BF is trying to say!

I have a deep belly button, with Haleigh it didnt pop out till about 25wks, but this time its popped out since 18wks Haleigh lifts up my shirt to play with it all the time, and I can see it sticking out form my tops if they are fitting.
I mean mine pops all the way out it has both times,

Mine is a deep-ish/normal inny and at just over 21 weeks it is stretching out and not so deep now, I keep looking at it as its just started changing in the last few weeks --- i'm fascinated with it! haha.
I was under the impression that deeper ones were less likely to pop out, they just stretch and get less deep?! I did ask someone months ago if they all popped out - as that was the impression I had pre-pregnancy (just from seeing pics of preggie bellies).

Hi yeah i had a peircing when i was in early teens, had first baby at 16 and had taken it out early on in preg. The scar/small hole split of in all directions and left long stretch marks. They wouldnt have been there had i not had the peircing bugger it.It was ok with my 1st and 2nd babies but after the third the scars were quite big and deep. And i just cant wait to see them after this baby no 5!!!That was the only place i got stretch marks at all.So you can imagine how annoyed i would be at that!
