Ella's slowly growing out of her 000's, so soon I'll have 2 whole wardrobes (0000 and the ones she's in now) stored in boxes. I figured I'd save all her clothes for another baby should we have another girl. But I've been thinking - what are the chances of having another girl in the same season Ella was born??? So maybe it doesn't make sense to save them all after all. Has anyone had good use out of re-using their children's wardrobes? Or if you've sold them, did you regret it later? She's got some lovely stuff that I'd love to use again.

Some stuff I gave away, but mostly things Erin hadn't worn much or at all - am keeping basic stuff like singlets and stretch n grows, plus a few really nice outfits that I got from overseas etc.

I gave away alot of stuff but have just started to sell it on Trade me now probably more because i need the money for Oscar's treatment in Australia at the end of the month but its a good idea i think. You dont get nearly as much as you pay for it but its better than getting nothing.
I always thought that i would save Oscar's clothes for our next baby but then realised with my shopping personality it would be a waste of time because i would want all the new stuff and all the new designs.

He he he... yeah I know I'll buy some new stuff for another baby 'cause I love buying baby clothes! If I have a boy I'll have to buy nearly a whole wardrobe though. And if I have another girl in any month from December to August, she'd need a new wardrobe too, except for some sleepsuits and all Ella's onesies. I don't mind dressing my child in clothing from 4 or 5 years ago, but if I end up selling it maybe it's silly to wait until it's unfashionable. I've not given any away yet either, because of the whole re-use thing. But I'd enjoy doing that.

Selling mine coz the jury is still out on whether we'll have any more (would like to, but not like to IYGWIM!) and because I have far too much fun shopping!

I can't seem to get rid of Jacks stuff its too special although I have lent out stuff to other people. Keep the special stuff cos you can always get rid of it later but you will never be able to get it back.
Heaps of the stuff you will be able to use again, even tho we are having a girl in the complete opposite time of year theres still heaps I can use again.

I have sorted through the boys stuff - into cute and not so cute, and given to us. or more importantly, made for us. those things I am keeping - although lending to a close friend. the other plain stuff, I've started selling on trademe. I figure, i have no idea if we will have a girl or boy (and the jury is out on what I'd prefer), so may as well clear the space. a friend has just announced their pregnancy, nicely opening the way for me to offload all my big stuff until we are ready again
