We had Ella dedicated on Sunday... She took less than a minute to throw up on the dress and by lunchtime she'd 'coloured' it in via her bum, too! Still, it was a nice little occasion and thankfully I had spare clothes packed. Got her back into it for some pics... I took these before she did a repeat of both of Sunday's messes... in the same dress! I hope she's improved by the time she's in a wedding dress, is all I can say!

Similar to a christening. Hubby and I are both christian, and we wanted her dedicated (basically saying that we promise to do our best in raising her, and we'll teach her about God and help her grow in her own spirituality). We didn't declare that our own beliefs are now hers (I think some ceremonies label the child a 'christian' afterwards) because she has to make her own mind up on that. ------------- Andie |
