I had a few extra toilet trips when i was first pregnant but that didnt last and now i go as often as i did when not pregnant and after hearing others moan about it i was wondering if some people just dont get this frequent toilet thing????? i know that bubs is up high and gives my lungs a bashing so is this why my bladder is not suffering (bubs is not near it)?????
Stupid question i know but still curious....

I still haven't had a problem with needing to pee more often. I still don't get up during the night to pee and I drink a hell of a lot of water.

I was a frequent pee-er, but I think its just one of those things that *most* people get but not all. Its not just from bubs squiching your bladder, its also to do with hormones relaxing the bladder (or something like that!).

I had to pee very frequently and because bubs was in breech position he was kicking me heaps down below so lots of frequent trips to the loo - don't miss that at all!

cool im glad its kinda normal i was a wee bit worried for a while there because i thought it was the natural course of things and therefore there must be something wrong. I felt much better after my scan which said bubs was healthy but was just curious about it

Oh i do remember it well from my son though! lol i needed to go every 20mins or so!! the worse thing was at night time because we lived in a 2 story house but the toilet was down stairs!!!! so i would have to stumble down the stairs half asleep every 20 minutes!!! and i would be wide awake by the time i made my way back upstairs so i would just finally doze back off to sleep in time to wake up for the next trip!

One of the reaons I insisted on a toilet upostairs *and* downstairs at our place!
I haven't always had the frequent-pee-thing in the first trimester, about the same as when I have my period, but Krystiana was breech for most of this pregnancy and I really did notice it this time. Then after 15ish weeks it was all back to "normal" until she dropped - I noticed the dropping/needing to pee thing with the other two as well. And that's the time that I have to go during the night

I had it in early and then late pregnancy both times.
We only had a toilet downstairs and man, did it make for some interesting midnight rushes down 2 flights of stairs and over the babygate at 9 months gest!

It seems to be where the baby is for me. One week I will have to go every 5 minutes, and then the next i am back to normal. Must be a little wriggler!!!
