Hi, i'm 8 weeks pregnant with my third child and so far been havind an alright preg with just the usual symptoms, morning sickness ocaisional vomiting headaches and constipation, but this afternoon I had a real funny tummy and a few cramps and just thought it was cause of the constipation then I got abit flushed and had a bout of diahorea just one lot and i felt better after it but now I'm worried that something is wrong. I haven't eaten anything that I can think of, should I contact someone? thanks for listening

Maybe you should see the Doc if no better By the Morning. As long as you dont get heavy bleeding in the mean time. Some foodborne illnesses can sometimes be harmfull to the fetus. Try not to worry too much about it. I had a bout eaarly on in my preg, outcome?? sore bum!! Am 22wks nw. Hope it comes right soon.

I had bouts of the runs through my first trimester. As I was pretty anal about food I was always pretty sure it wasn't food related.

I posted on another board to ask about it and pretty much it came back that some people get constipaion in pregnancy, some get the runs and some get both. Unless it hangs around or you think it could be food related, you are probably fine.

You need to keep your fluids up and just call your LMC if you are getting dehydrated and/or if it hangs around for too long. A couple of days is no prob.
