| Arrgh im so over the flu! DP and i have both been sick since the weekend and today he gets home and goes straight to sleep. thats not a problem but he wakes up just as im putting Mya to bed and he walks past going "come cook me something" i tell him im sitting down for half an hour he can go cook something if he really wants something now, so he turns his comment into a joke. 40mins after this hes stormed outa the house to go get takeaways! grrr we never have dinner b4 this time so its not like im being lazy grrr it just makes me feel so useless, and i no im not so now im mad! grrrrrrrr just wanted to rant! |

Fair enough that you have a rant!!! It feels good to let it out... I have learnt that men are sometimes just sooooooo self-absorbed! Good for you not giving in and making him something straight away.
My friend made a a good point to her hubby the other day - "just b/c my name is mum doesn't mean that i'm the only one who can cook and clean etc...". try that line on him. (hubby is now in the background saying that the 'man flu' is just what men are expected to do!) - poo to him! -------------  My beautiful 2 girls...nearly 4 and 13 months

know how you feel.....mine has been home sick all week with a man cold...and I am sooo over him now!!! He IS going to work tomorrow!!!
