Just wanted to put a little post of gratitude to all the grandparents on here. You guys are amazing and really are a great source of help and support!
I wouldnt have got through this week without my mum. Been down with the flu and luckily she happened to be having a week of work and she has twice offered to take Mya out, today for 6 hours - the longest ive been away from her! and i got 4 hours sleep, Mya loved her outing and im feeling much better. |

I'm loving my parents as well at the moment.
When I was home for a friend's funeral I pretty much abandoned Hannah with them... it was so good to be able to be part of everything and not feel like the societal outcast that I do feel sometimes being a young mum. I got to see my friends and share in the memories of Kas and not have to worry about the parent thing for a while. (Altho all I did was think about Han the whole time anyway  )
Sometimes I'm really glad my parents lives age away... it makes me value their contribution to Hannah and I a whoooole lot more

I love my mum, she is the best (although I find it hard to tell her sometimes, I hope she knows how much I appreciate her). She comes in regularly to see Ella, and babysits her when I ask. Ella loves her "Grand-a-mar"

My mum takes Rhiannon every friday....(even though im there) i dont have to do a thing...she does everything. and my parents would have her every weekend if we let them and they just do so much for us... I love my parents very much ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I am one of the grandparents on here I look after Caitlyn daughter of Kelly(caitlynsmygirl) while Kelly works and I will just do another plug to try and get a baby or toddler to look after in my own home in Howick Auckland when Caitlyn goes to school in June.
I love looking after Children, they are just so precious. I have had karitane nursing training and done a nanny centre course |
